This week, several creators shared notices stating that major platforms will no longer accept adult content connected to Alabama or North Carolina. That means:

❌ No productions shot in Alabama or NC
❌ No performers who legally reside in those states
❌ No performers using IDs issued by those states

⁉️ Why? ⁉️ Because both states have passed extreme, high-risk laws regulating online adult content. These laws require heavy documentation, strict consent rules, fast takedowns, age verification systems, and even allow massive fines. Instead of risking lawsuits and penalties, platforms are choosing the “safe” route: blocking creators entirely.

Alabama’s HB164 (effective Oct 1, 2024) and North Carolina’s HB805 (effective Dec 1, 2025) are reshaping the adult industry — and not in a good way for creators.

If a performer requests removal, the platform must delete the image within 72 hours, even if all consent was valid.

Next only content produced while a lawyer oversees it is lawful.
