    5 days until the end of Windows 10!

    Yooooo... if you're still running Windows 10... aren't you worried there will be some hack that Microsoft doesn't bother fixing?

    My mental health is gettin' worse worrying about this shit! I think I gotta upgrade! Going to be giving handies behind Wendy's to raise funds.

      Not true. MS wants you to believe it, so you move on to 11. Look for Windows 10 LTSC. The very same OS.

      Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC (Long-Term Servicing Channel) 2021 (version 21H2) reaches its end of servicing on January 12, 2027. However, the Windows 10 IoT Enterprise LTSC 2021 edition will continue to receive support, with its end of support date set for January 13, 2032.

              Well actually... I also have a real curiousity about this as well!

              My current computer I'll gift to my kid, and I'll install a fresh Windows 10 on it. It will be on the same network as my Windows 11 machine. Will it get hacked and get fucked up? Maybe... but it won't have all my work stuff on it, or my banking info, credit cards saved in the browser, paypal password, etc etc...

              As you can tell on GFY I don't exactly have the perfect mental health after the COVID insanity... so I try and do things to reduce my anxiety like keeping my PC up-to-date with its OS boosters... oh shit, wait WTF... hahaha!

                                                          All bugs fixed and many of the dumb shit stuff you want to change back is able to be changed back without the need for third party software. Like moving the middle button shit back to the left.

                                                                  I upgraded to win 11 a month ago even with my cpu that isn't supposed to support it. Im watching closely if they're still sending updates from today on.

                                                                  The problem is that MS can stop sending security updates at anytime to these older cpu's that are using win 11.

                                                                  Either way Im updating my whole PC in Nov to probably a Ryzen 9800x3D.. I'm still using an old i5 6600K from 2016 and I trade crypto a lot so I can't afford having some chinese fucker snooping around my shit.

                                                                                                      Windows immediately bombing us with updates before the stated date but it's a stress factor to the users for sure not them I remember by the end of July, I stress-tested my whole workflow during vacation using an old-ass laptop running Windows 7, just for fun to see if it's possible at all... There wasn’t a single task where I couldn’t find a workaround to avoid all the incompatibility errors, it usually took just a minute to figure out how to get everything done despite many apps not working... that included all kinds of web3 activity too and win7 was released way before web3 existed at all
