I still remember uploading watermarked affiliate videos that would get nuked within minutes... while you could legit find underage videos so easily and they had thousands and thousands of "brush bate" and other 100% underage videos, along with very spicy names for private channels you could subscribe to.

Anyone with half a brain knows how they were operating.

Maybe I'm the only one who remembers in like 2008-2009 how totally fucked up shit was on that site... does anyone remember the huge scandal about the private members' areas and what content was being sold for soooooooo long....

Meanwhile, if you uploaded anything and tried to hide a watermark or promo somehow, they would spot it in 30 seconds and delete your shit...

2009 was before my time, anyway I remember they only allowed a watermark yourURL.com/pornhub as they were afraid someone entering the URL and not clicking the affi link.

I hope the new adult laws give them a hard time.

Who are they doing the affiliate prog through these days?..

payout $300, yeah not much, I used to only upload once every few months to Xvideo, and now they´re holding payment for me to change my vids to no copyright...

Let´s get this right, for the past few months i´ve been uploading clean vids for them to make money on and pay me, and now they´re saying they need the old vids changing.

I can do this, but fucking pay me first!

$300-500 seems to be a standard payout for small creators and studios. Too less to live, but too much to die as it's an okayish amount you take. Had this amount on PH before their tiers program, still have it on xvid/sheer.

Only outperforming on faphouse, but just because there you can combine viewshare with a fanclub with subscriptions.

Viewshare/PPV is a rip off as you never know when their algo counts smth as a view (it likely doesnt count in our advantage, how many minutes has a video to be watched to be counted as a view?).

Faphouse also has viewshare, it happens that a viewshare vid has several likes and bookmarks but not counted a single view lol. So I ask their support and of course they just refer to their algo. I asked when does the algo count a view as view and they just told me the algo does what it does lol.

Best never give them full videos for viewshare or adshare as they likely miscount on purpose.

Also you never know what trick they try next, like PH with its tiers program which caused a drop in payouts of 80% for many. Seems they decided to only feed their inhouse paysites like brazzers.

Now I wonder why their earnings page shows me an amount over ten times higher than the actual payout. Seems their algo has an honest moment.
