    Crypto folks, some advice please

One of the girls wants to start tossing some $$$ into crypto, we're not talking a lot, maybe $100-200 a month, whats the best way to do this, can be a US or UK exchange (?) and of the multitude of crypto currencies out there, which one should I try to steer her towards so she isnt just pissing money away?

I'm guessing BTC would still be a solid bet, given it seems to be the most common/stable even though she wouldnt actually own much for a while.

    Any advice would be appreciate

I've never had any trouble buying crypto on coinbase. But I wouldn't keep it there when you start to get a healthy portion of funds.

Then you should move it to cold storage. Tangem is pretty cool (use DJC36L to get 10% off)

For which crypto to buy I wouldn't feel safe to reccomend anything else than btc. Eth and Sol looks like they could keep growing at the moment but who knows..

BTC would be the safest bet.

      ETH probably safe as well.

Avoid the casino unless gambling is the intention, ie everything else.

don't play any markets without a lot of learning and time to watch it.

when my friends ask how they can start trading, cuz they got a few hundred bucks burning a hole in their pocket, i've been sending them to micro-investing sites.

BEANSTOX is a good one backed by Kevin O'Leary.

        ROBINHOOD is similar.

You can auto invest weekly/monthly or just drop funds in there and let it sit.

        good luck!

BTC is the future. If u want to gamble with maybe crazy odds, try altcoins.

Solana, Sui after BTC are good choices, no ETH...

But if u want more gambling, try Jup, Plume, Ondo, IO, Ava. The point is to have patience.

I have a client who started with Coinbase, and then ended up integrating Coinbase's plugin and API to accept crypto for transactions. It's not used very much as far as I know for that.

I'd echo what people are saying about sticking to the popular coins though. I don't think crypto is really known for its stability, but at least those coins seem to be used frequently for legitimate transactions.

There are a number of knowledgeable people on YouTube. CryptoCrow is a good one to follow. He's a former adult webmaster and used to post on GFY.

You can find a number of videos on good strategies for new crypto investors.

Bitcoin and Etherium, but Etherium's alot cheaper and on a roll right now. Coinbase is good.
