I'm heading back to LA for a couple of days over a weekend. I always, always, always make it a point to crawl the strip and drink, party, and drink some more, and I always make the Whiskey-a-gogo my primary destination. Can someone recommend some other cool bars and restrauants to check out while I'm there?

Scum & Villany in Hollywood is a fun sci-fi themed restaurant & bar. They do karaoke on Thursdays.
In the valley, Bob's Big Boy on Riverside has a cruise night every Friday.
Towards the beach, I belive Copro Nason in Santa Monica still has their HEAVY METAL magazine group show up.
