    Canon printers and ARM chips

Yikes. Bought a new Canon printer and tried to hook it up to my new Surface Pro 12. Turns out my new Surface is an ARM chip an Canon does not make drivers for ARM chips.

Took me four hours to get the printer installed.

In the end I had to use a built-in Microsoft IPP Class Driver and added the printer by IP.

Had a similar issue a few months back, but with Windows 11, a lot of products are still not shipping compatible drivers for that OS :/

Wasn’t that the entire premise behind win 10/11?
