    1400% increase in signups on protonVPN

    Brits aren´t going to pay for AVS...

    or is this nothing to do with money, & the whole AVS system is floored within the first weekend, with no one wanting to show Identity, or worse, under 18´s looking at porn?


    Either way, this could be the end of AVS, it´s gone before it´s started

      Why would they pay for it in the first place? It's the providers that pay not the viewers.

          The whole age verification idea is based on a flawed assumption. It's the parents' job to monitor what their kids are doing online - not the responsibility of content creators.

          Forcing websites to take on that role doesn't work, and isn't enforceable, especially when things like VPNs make it easy to bypass restrictions.

              It's definitely enforceable and they are already working on just that.

                      UK is a communist country. they will ban VPN next, which is easily detectable.

                      they don't want porn in the UK since it goes against sharia law.

                      the total sales of porn in the UK is a pretty small percentage. the US laws are much more lenient. let the tubes fight over UK traffic.

                                  Putting a thumbs up after an insanely idiotic statement doesn't make it less stupid. If you're dealing with 3 customers with a personal connection you might get 2 to go pay for age verification but that's not how any of this works or will work in the future.

                                          The law isn't going away because people bypass it. And I've been using AVS to cash out from a casino for at least a year, people will use it when they really want but they damn sure won't pay for it.

                                          The government goes after the sites regardless of what the customers do anyhow. Comply or die.

                                              exactly as i´m doing, adapt or die, we´re here to stay in the adult business...

                                              however, like people want to use VPN rather than AVS, there´s people that will pay for AVS and enjoy what they want to see. Besides, it´s only 2 quid for life, it´s not a massive problem

                                                      I will say one thing, since the AVS was applied to the ModelCentro sites, I noticed a dip in my traffic on my official subscription site.

                                                      This is what I find curious & would like to know where it come from though...

                                                      I notice on Saturday, just gone, the 26th July and 27th, a huge increase in traffic, similar to the same as before the AVS was applied a month or so ago.

                                                      Could this be Brits on VPN. I will look into this, but this is very strange to see the spike in traffic & join hits & joins.
