My personal opinion?

Hardcoredelight - beta1 - I like the idea but the girls in the pic look dead.....the girls need color. There are alot of images jammed in there......maybe a little hard to capture what you're trying to convey.

beta2- looks great and probably would convert better.

Then again, what do I know :-)

beta/ is wayyyy too busy and devoid of contrasting colors. beta1/ looks a lot better.

well, you have a point... the same designer did www.facialdelight.com and it converts pretty ok so far...so we will see.

Beta1 is much better than Beta. Besides a list of conversion no-nos, Beta simply is confusing to the eye.

Beta1 makes much better use of contrast and text that appears clear and readable. Both designs do suffer from the "get my money's worth" syndrome a bit though. For awhile there as many new designers came on the scene, people hiring them started to want to see more and more graphically as they compared one designer to another, trying to get their money's worth. What it led to was overly layered, busy designs that look hard to make but rarely earn the webmaster the kind of conversions they need to turn a good profit.

Anyway, I babble. Beta1 is much better. I would even suggest simplifying it more if you don' t get the best returns. And that's coming form a guy who would much rather get paid more to do more graphics! =]

btw - would you guys recommend setting up free sample vids?
or a bunch of sample pics?

Any of you that have tested conversion with and without actual samples?

It was very used a few years ago, but its like most paysites have taken them off again, and god knows that bandwidth is a LOT cheaper now, so that cant be the reason ;)
