Please Test this for me at my Clips4Sale store

I've recently created a Clips4Sale store:

https://www.clips4sale.com/studio/13...looking-fetish

The problem I'm having is when I add some new clips they aren't displayed at the top. The default setting seems to be "Sort: Creator Favourites" which is sometime I don't want. I actually haven't set any of the videos as favourites. I need it to display the clips as Sort: Most Recent.

I'm based in the UK. One of the members of my site is in the UK as well and the same thing happens for him. I've tried going to my Clips4Sale on a different browser I've never used and I still have the same thing. Have tried on my phone as well.

I contacted Clips4Sale about it and they said the latest clips were displayed for them.

The last two clips I've added to the store are these 2:

Kate Anne Oil Moisturizing
Kate Anne Upskirt Views – Fan Assisted -1

But they are displayed half way down the page.

It's showing Bonnie Bellotti Relaxing Smoking 1 as the first clip but that was added on the 30 May.

Could anyone test this for themselves and let me know which clip is displayed first. And if you do this please let me know which country you live in. Thanks. Much appreciated.

It is ordered by "studio favorite" by default (Bonnie Bellotti Relaxing Smoking 1) . . .

The default sorting option is Creator Favorites. Do they allow you to change the default sorting option?

Otherwise, when I changed to Most Recent, the videos you mentioned are shown at the top.

shows for me as oldest first in the dropdown, like el C I have to manually switch it to 'most recent' as per below

are you using the new 'workspace' when you set up your studio? if so, it's a shit show. not gonna get into it but their transfer over to this grand new idea has been really ill-planned and poorly implemented

think twitter to X and you have an idea

try going to admin.clips4sale.com, then CLIP STORE>EDIT CLIP STORE

then scroll down to 'Default Clip Display'

make sure it's set to DESCENDING (meaning newest clips first)

hope that helps

Hi, yes I am using the new Work Space. I preferred the old one. It's odd that we can use both. I had a look my store to edit it as you suggest and looked at Default Clip Settings. Descending was ticked. Also Display order was ticked. So I have clicked Clip Date so doing that unclicks Display order. It can take up to 24 hours for any changes to show.

But I don't think this will work. I think there is something wrong with Clips4Sale. I have just looked at 30 random Clip4Sale stores. Non of them display the latest clips by default. They are either sorted by Recommended or Creator Favourite. I'll get in touch with Clips4Sale about it. I have to say their support is really good so hopefully they will get to the bottom of this.

I noticed that some clip stores, like mine, have 7 options to display the clips but some only have 6 options. The ones that have only 6 options don't have the display by creator favourites. Like this one:

Thanks for letting me know that. I can't see a way that Clips4Sale allow the owner of the store to change the default sorting display. Obviously a customer can choose how to have the clips displayed through the various sorting options. But as the owner of the store I just want the latest clips to be displayed which makes the most sense. If someone has bought clips from the store before they want to see the latest clips that have been added since when they visit the store.

I've solved the problem.

First I went to the old admin area which I had used before:

https://admin.clips4sale.com/

Though then I had stopped using it and started using the new Workspace Admin.

When I looked through the list of clips I had on my store I saw that I had changed the display order on a lot of the early clips from the default 0. That's because some of the clips went out of sync.

So I had the clips numbered from 1 onwards so I could control how they were displayed.

I have set all the clips now to the default display order of 0. This didn't seem to fix the problem.

I then noticed you could search through your clips in the admin to find favourites. I assumed I didn't have any favourites but I found one clip that I had marked as a favourite. I unclicked that so now I have no favourites. As soon as I did that I checked my store and now the latest clips are displayed.

The problem I had before was that the default display of my clips at my store were being displayed as Sort: Creator Favourites. Now that I have no clips checked as favourites that Creator Favourite option has gone.

It's odd though that the default display sorting of my clips at my store is now Sort: Recommended. It should be Sort: Most Recent. I haven't set it to recommend any clips.

But I'm OK with that as now all the latest clips I add are displayed first.

So all the clip stores have a default display setting of Recommended or Creator Favourite.
If you don't have any clips that you have set as favourite then you won't have that display option at your store.

Thank you for listening.

So I've solved the problem. See previous post.

Have just contacted Clips4Sale about it. (I've edited out the bit where she calls me a pedantic twat!)

Hello! Thank you for contacting Clips4Sale Support. How can I help?
Hi, I wondered why the default display sort option for all the clips4sale stores is either Recommended or Creator Favourite? If you have set any of your clips as favourite then the default display sort option for your store will be Creator Favourite. If you haven't set any of your clips as favourite the default display sort option will be Recommended. I've check lots of different stores and the default display order for their stores is either Recommended or Creator Favourite.
Shouldn't the default display setting be: Sort: Most Recent?
That is more logical because mine says Sort Recommended but I haven't recommended any of the clips.
Someone who views my store will think I'm recommending certain clips when I'm not.

Could you pass my comment on to management in the hope that they will change it so the default clip display for my stores and other stores would be Sort: Most Recent. Instead of Recommended.

yes will do
Because recommended doesn't make sense as I'm not recommending any clips.
Thanks.
Hope that makes sense.

In your studio, the customers actually set the sort filter
image
They have the option to sort the clips to most recent
Yes, that's true. They can set the sort view. But the default view they see is recommended which is incorrect as I'm not recommending any clips. So the default sort view for anyone who views my store should be Sort: Most recent.
The question is who is recommending the clips? Not me!
The sort by recommending doesn't make sense.

Understood, thank you for the feedback and I will forward your comments to the team
Thanks Josephine. Much appreciated. Hopefully they will see the logic of what I'm saying. Hope you have a great day.
