    Why even pay your phone bill?

    Why the fuck do I even have a phone plan in 2025? Almost every communication I can do I can do online for free... meanwhile, if I have a phone plan, I'm just raped on charges constantly. Then if you can't afford your bill and they suspend you, then they slap you with a huge reconnection fee for a device you barely fucking use.

    Just got slapped with $90 in long distance charges for 1-2 pretty short phone calls.

    Now my bill is up to $240... why the fuck would I even pay it? That's so much money to me that I can't justify ever paying that bill. Just going to fuck me so hard if I pay it, and what benefit do I have in life from having a phone number and 5G service?

    I might make 2-3 phone calls a month. Is that worth it for such a fucking fat bill? All I needed a phone number for was to verify a Twitter account.

    I'm probably just going to let that $240 bill get my phone number suspended. It's just so stupid to have a phone plan unless you need it for work or business. And since I'm already broke and have no credit, it will completely not affect my life.

    Fuck, the only thing I need a phone number for is for verifying Twitter and that's pretty much it. Maybe I'll switch to a $20-a-month pay as you go. Fuck these insane fucking phone bills.

                                                      You have to pay $20 per month to keep a pay per use plan in Canada? $20 buys me an unlimited data and calling plan in Europe. Pay per use is $0 in a recurring fee and I upload when I need to use it.

                                                      You should have left Canada years ago.

                                                              Because I was trying to connect with someone and the call kept dropping, so I called them back and totally forgot long distance was a thing.

                                                              Now if I don't make a payment tomorrow, my bill goes up to $300 and my service is cut off.

                                                              $300 is 1/3rd my rent
                                                              $300 is the difference between getting my car running + having money left over to take my kid to at least a couple dinners and some fun
                                                              $300 will fucking break my ability to get anything fun done when my kid is back in 2-3 days

                                                              I love how $300 to me is such a financial burden that I only got fucking 4 hours of sleep last night because I have to choose between either having money to live or paying a FUCKING PHONE BILL FOR A PHONE I USE LIKE ONCE A WEEK, TOPS, BUT THAT ONCE A FUCKING WEEK IS REAL FUCKING CONVENIENT.

                                                                  Life in 2025 is so difficult because there are so few ways for someone like me to make any money at all. I'm banned everywhere so doing any sort of art doesn't even get any eyeballs on anything I've done.

                                                                  Still need to finish coding my app to help me make money online, but too stressed out over money to finish it. If I just had a FLOAT of some sort so I'm not always down to my LAST DOLLAR and HOVERING AT $0 and ALWAYS BEHIND ON MY RENT I bet I could accomplish so much again because I wouldn't always be stressed out and scrambling to cover even the basics.

                                                                  I only own a single black t-shirt without holes in it, I fixed my broken dollar store sandals with plastic zip ties, and I still have a 3rd car I could sell but without a phone, nobody is going to be able to contact me to sell it! I'm banned off Facebook permanently so I'll have to get my baby momma to post the ad for me when I sell it coming up, but I don't want to fucking sell it until I can get one of my other 2 cars working, or I'm stuck at my shithole without any way of getting around!

                                                                  My life has been sooooo awesome EXCEPT for financial shit. Everything else is pretty much great in life but the conditions are that someone like myself is completely shunned by woke shit Canadian society and cannot turn a dime with my skills. Banned everywhere online under my real name. 13+ years of being banned on GoodReads and they still won't unban my account.

                                                                  On the plus side, with my baby momma back, finally have someone to drive me home from the hospital after my hernia surgery coming up, yay!

                                                                                                  What happened was, I got the bill at the same time my landlord demanded I move my broken down van, so I ordered a fuel pump, but when I installed the pump, because I couldn't afford coolant in my van, I used water, and in the summer it broke down and I was busy drinking tons to get rid of COVID rage, so I never put coolant in it, so, over winter, the block froze and pushed out a freeze plug! (The part of an engine designed to pop if the block freezes.)

                                                                                                  Soooo... I had to order a freeze plug, which made me order a headgasket set, which made... you get the point, so I got distracted and broke, so I didn't pay the bill, then I had to make a long distance call related to my USA Passport status, and that was one hella expensive call at $100 basically, and then I got my phone suspended and it was a $60 re-connect fee, so when I got my next bill, it was fat swole all the way up to $240 which is a total ass rape when you're a broke as fuck artist like myself!

                                                                                                  Luckily, I have some gigs working out to make money, but hooooooooly fuck, getting a $240 bill when my kid and baby momma are visiting me is just such a kick in the balls. I really want to be able to afford to take them to a number of the local AirBNBs I found, whole bunch of really nice cabins on lakefront for cheap nearby, and $240... fuuuuuck, that's like...

                                                                                                                                      so someone comes from the UK and calls me, i text them and i get charged a lot compared to other companies, that´s when it´s better to go what´s app or Telegram...

                                                                                                                                      but yes Huggles, 7€ a month, so maybe $8 for a pretty good line here in Spain
