In my younger days I fished 3 or 4 times a week and spent many weekends on the river sleeping in a tent, it was in Eastern Ontario, Can, just west of Ottawa, after fishing there for many years I found that throughout the day, small mouth with hit lours like Papala's and spinning bait's, but early in the morning and at dusk, when it is feeding time, they much prefer live worms. |

I went to Cocoa Beach with my folks about 15 years ago, caught a 22.5 lb Cobia Shark, it was almost as long as I was, excellent tasting as well! there was about $250 in the biggest fish of the day pool, I caught the Cobia in the morning and thought the $250 was mine, then right before we lifted anchor, some bastard caught like a 60 lb'er forget what kind of fish it was though |

I love to fish!!! Have done saltwater on vacation, but fish fresh water at home. If I am using spinning gear, I like Shakespeare rods, and quantum snaposhot reel is a good reel, for not a lot of money. I also love to catch lake trout, go old school on that though ... wire line and a williams spoon is the only way to go there!

I have a little stream running through the yard at my house and it has some frogs and small minnows and shit... I was thinking of getting a fishnet and grabbing up a bunch of the minnows to use them as bait.

I am a saltwater angler every weekend.

Redfish, Snook, Black Drum, Flounder, Pompanp, Snapper, Spotted Trout, Cobia I am a shimano or Daiwa reel fan, if your freshwater fishing, Fin-Nor has a nice reel, and as for the fishing stick, go into the stores and talk to folks, it comes down to what you want to pay and if the features are worth it to you. Don't forget to clean your reel [Reel Magic' spray is wonderful, sold at Wally World for $5.17. Maintain your equipment. I use flurocarbon fish line and leader material [invisible], use good hooks [I prefer circle hooks], and use live bait! My fishing rods are "Ande Backwater" and I love them, I prefer 2 piece so I can stow them on the boat easier. Some rods like Cape Fear are over $250, a good stick thats cheap is the Ugly Stix, 6.6" is a good length for freshwater. |

I learned how to fish for king salmon in Seward, Alaska last year....from the natives ....these guys got it down i tell ya.

They sit along the bank or shoreline and when the fish make thier swim..they snag them! They use these huge hooks and wear ploarized sunglasses. The guys were watching my hubby fish all day with no luck and felt sorry for him, so they clued us in on how to actaully catch one of those bad boys. Those natives know what time the school of fish will take their swim along the shore and they are there..scrambling over the rocks like it was track n feild day..snatching out king salmon and running down to the market to sell it for some spending cash. I ate well that night. |

Fly fishing is the best. I'm going to The Walker River this weekend if I can help it. I'm actually filming a POV shoot near my Fav local trout fishing hot spot next weekend. I'll keep you posted if anyone here requests it by e-mailing me @ [email protected]

I'm the consumate fisherman, and very peticular about my equipment...

Saturday night I'll be slamming largemouths in the delta, black buzzbaits after sundown...chuck it out into the night and start reelin... For this particualr task I just bought brand new equipment. I'm a shimano man myself. I bought a Shimano Stradic 4000fh, shimano stradics ar the last reel you will ever have to buy...lifetime guarantee, solid as a rock. But they run about $160. I also bought a Shimano graphite Clarus, great rod...I went with med/hvy action supertaper...its only 6'6'' it runs about $60. That combo kicks ass and comes in a very wide range of sizes....from ultralight up. This will be the longest day at work ever...I can't wait to go fishin...

A buddy of mine there ahs a really cool boat and we use to go out every weekend. Got to the point we were tired of buying chum for shark fishing so.. he bought a meat grinder and we would grind fresh mackrel off the back of the boat... what a fucking mess.. but one hell of a good time. |

I am leaving Ponce Inlet and popping out into the ocean and catch those reds as they enter the inlet by the jetties. Watch it rain on Sunday on my big expedition out there.... Don't know what the fishing addiction is, but I got it real bad, and its been 2 years now |
