in before AMA, new c4s compliance stuff

just teasing you AMA, but hope this thread is useful to anyone who needs it re the 'content standards update'

wow a PITA, but some tips on how to make the long and arduous process a little less of a hassle

if you're like me, with studios going back years, all those older clips no longer have any performers attached to them, even solo vids of only yourself


Step One

go to admin.clips4sale,com

make sure all your compliance IDS/performer consent forms are loaded and approved in COMPLIANCE>ADD NEW PERFORMER


Step Two

once the performer docs are submitted and approved, go to workspace.clips4sale.com

go to DASHBOARD>SELL>ACTION REQUIRED for a probably very long list of clips dating back to before fire was invented, but that are worth keeping cuz they still sell


for solo performers, it's really easy, click on the BULK option and input your Stage Name, Real Name, ID and Consent Form from the drop down for each, click to add yourself as the performer, then click submit

you'll get an error message that none or few of the clips could be processed. ignore that. go back to the ACTION REQUIRED list and do it again. you'll notice the list of clips has dropped significantly, like by 500-1k each time

do that a few times and the list of clips needing action will dwindle to zero


for those who feature multiple performers in their clips, you can't do bulk obviously, but you can do it page by page or in batches of pages

if say there are three vids on a page that feature the same performers, checkmark those boxes, add each performer in the clips and submit all three together

or if there are 15 clips of the same peeps on pages 1, 2.3 and 5 for example, just checkmark the boxes for those clips. add the relevant docs from the drop downs and submit. checkmarks for selected clips don't get removed if you continue to a new list page to check more clip boxes

NOTE: if multiple performers are in a clip, you have to add each performer one by one before submitting. as in, add one performer using the drop downs, then the next, then the next, then submit

you'll still get messages that submitted clips can't be processed, again, ignore it and keep going. the glitch (if it is one) sorts itself quite quickly

repeat for each studio

the key is to have all the performer IDs and consent forms approved in admin.clips4sale.com. that way you don't have to keep uploading the same docs over and over, you can just select from the drop downs in workspace.clips4sale.com ACTION REQUIRED
