Does anyone know what percentage Clips4Sale take on each clip you sell? I thought it was 60%.

looks about 10% and the tax & vat is paid, looking back over the last year of our sales.
Either way, happy with the c4s site and sales, nice added bonus to sales on our content

I've just sold a clip for $4.99 and it says the commission is $2.99 which is 60%. I assumed the commission was what Clips4Sale took. When I used to have Clips4Sale stores around 2009 I think they took a 30% cut.

looking at this, seems like is 40% as the commission is yours isn´t it?
check the earnings and see how much is in there, if it´s the commission, then, they´re paying you the commission as they rent the video, pay the vat and tax so you gain the commission and not have to pay vat.
TBH, with the vat change over the last few years, i´m happy for them to take more, any company paying my vat on top and then i just have to pay my taxes and no vat is good, just saying

yeah, double checked, i earnt this $7 from this sale.. this was my commission...

Hi Natalie. Yes we get 60% of the sale and Clips4Sale get 40%. I've just checked this with their support. That's a relief as 60% for Clips4Sale would be a very high percentage. It's just not clear when they say commission (and the amount) because that to me could be commission paid to me or their commission fee. Anyway that's all cleared up now. Clips4Sale pay you 60% on all sales you make.Comment

Thanks Natalie. I've only just created a Clips4Sale store but I used to have about 12 around 2009. A model I was shooting told me Clips4Sale took 60% so I'll have to let her know that is incorrect. Yes 40% for Clips4Sale is reasonable when you realize all that they offer, especially their traffic.Comment
