So do they actually issue a certificate to you in Canada, to state that you have had the vaccine? If it were the UK, you could of just said you were, and no one would have checked... But that was a couple of years ago...
Chances are, this is just left over verbiage from a couple of years ago, being reposted 'Copy/paste' style as an advert. ie, when I get a reminder for a dental appointment in the UK, it still goes on about the covid precautions in place at the practise.
Of course there are no longer any special 'precautions' whatsoever, but no one has thought to change the text in the reminder template - Sheer laziness.
Just apply, and I bet they wouldn't even mention covid at all...

So I was already putting feelers out there to volunteer at a dog shelter. But it could have been anything, like helping veterans, helping at a homeless shelter or senior center. When I quit porn in 2016-2017, I laughed to myself, how bad could the "real world" actually be?
Well, over the next 3-4 years, I discovered just how completely and totally fucked up shit is, for sure, and corporate environments are basically a prison for your soul, because either you go with the company culture and direction of the organization, or your life is a living hell, haha.
For example, in 2019, I had proven my ability in other areas of the company so I was given the job of Health and Safety manager, and I re-wrote the health and safety manual, got the company lower insurance rates, switched the entire organization to paperless, and won a corporate award. Hooray!
Then, a bit before COVID, I got anonymous reports about unsafe bullying and harassment of a number of younger women at the company. They reported a worker who was a favourite of the CEO, and, as asked by the HR manager, I was told to investigate the accusations. Then, I was told, by the CEO, that it was no big deal. Well, considering that I was easily able to find evidence that one worker was deliberately making the workplace less safe for their co-workers, and forwarded that information to HR, then HR fired the CEO's favourite worker... but then the CEO came in, fired the HR manager, brought the worker back, and then warned me because they were only able to hire back their "good worker" at like $3 an hour more than when they were fired, and of course, company morale took a huge shit after that because a known bully was not only NOT punished for deliberately fucking over their younger, less experienced co-workers, but was REWARDED for it!
3+ people quit over that and slagged the company on various Facebook job groups. The 2nd in command of the company, I was 3rd, went onto those groups and openly called the workers who quit names and called them liars, even when people had been circulating video proof that the bullying co-worker was doing things to younger workers to make the job sites less safe.
