I think it you guys look at the headers a little closer you will see that the Headers have been forged. The Lotus notes versions dont match up, and the received from messages also dont match which is a big indicator of a forged headers.
 I have noticed that there are several open ports on the server that hosts the site.

Give me a fucking break -- I ONLY USED THIS EMAIL ADDRESS to sign up to moneytree. So do not give me that bullshit. This is no email harvester, don't you think I know the difference? I coded an email harvester by accident back in 1998 before I knew what spam was. I know the difference. Moneytree sold my fucking webmaster email address to some Russians. So what if MoneyTree didn't directly SPAM me -- what fucking sucks is that they sold my address in the first place to some people with no ethics -- THAT is the crime and they should take some heat for it.
If there is any doubt about this -- there was someone in another thread that said he only used an email address for moneytree and he got the same spam. Unlike most of you I don't get spam every day -- I get zero spam because I am careful with my email address. SO fuck all you haters... Maybe sextracker has a leak in their system or a corrupt employee or maybe just some enemies in Russia -- either way I'm not just going to roll over again... These assholes need to take some heat -- first SWOIT and now this bullshit child porn in my mailbox. It's not funny and I don't care how legit you think MoneyTree is -- I won't be using them ever again. |

it's not where its coming from, it's where the email was sent to.. check the TO: field, the email of TheFly is mtree@....... TheFly is saying that he used that address to only signup with them to track if the email address would get sold. And he probably did not put it anywhere on the web to let it get harvested... If you give an email address to a webmaster program, which noone else knows about, and one day you get Lolita spam, what would you think? anyway, just trying to make it clear what I think he meant to tell us... not accusing or defending anyone here..

You think you guys can just spam webmasters and then say "ooooh nobody sold our list -- it must be something else XYZ" -- there is no other explanation. You aren't dealing with yet another technically inept webmaster here... I am 99999.99% certain somebody at SexTracker leaked my address... still nobody has come up with a reasonable explanation.
The only other possible explanation was that someone was sniffing my moneytree signup form on 12/9/2002 and only JUST now MONTHS later decided to spam me with CP... Yeah that is really likely... and this is the only article of spam that I got so give me another explanation that makes 1 bit of sense here... why is it so hard for you people to believe that somebody is selling webmaster email lists? First SWOIT does it and then SexTracker does it... are you webmasters retarded? If you just let this shit pass over -- every program you signup to will start spamming you... You need to send a clear message that these webmaster lists need to be kept clean... if you have disgruntled employees that want to make some cash on the side selling to the Russians, maybe you should hire better people. |
