    Business Popular banner ad sizes?

When it comes to banner sizes, what is still popular for affiliates? I'm seeing a lot of programs banners are somewhat dated, even some that still have 468x60 and 88x32 sized banners and button, do people still use that size generally?

For me i tend to stick with the following:

    728x90
    300x250
    336x280
    120x600
    160x600
    300x600
    320x50
    250x250
    500x500

What dimension banner ads are you folks using these days?

Thanks! Out of curiosity, do you see a higher demand for static or animated banners?

I know from our internal stats it looks like static banners get a lower click rate in general (there are some exceptions as always) but they seem to have a higher conversion ratio, whereas animated graphics is opposite, more clicks, lower conversion lol

It would be great to figure out the ideal mix of static vs. animated on a single graphic to maximize the effectiveness on average

In adult, animated GIFs and HTML5 motion banners are more common. For example, refreshing a site like Pornhub will showcases the high-quality banners that appear to perform well. As you know, the effectiveness and style of banners can vary depending on the specific site design and niche. In the mainstream market, static advertisements are a little more prevalent for me, but again, it largely depends on the platform and the client's advertising strategy.

Some of my larger clients create multiple sets and styles of banners to split-test and identify the ones with the highest click-through rates (CTR). From there, we experiment with different colors, calls-to-action, and content to fine-tune and optimize the banners for maximum conversions.
