Google - No notification DMCA

I have not been receiving DMCA takedown notice notification from google, well that's a lie–I've received just the 1 to the email registered with google search console.

A search of lumen shows X000's of notices sent to google, the majority of which, when checking Google transparency report, state google did not de-index due to being fair-use content, but a google performance search of the URL reported show traffic/impressions stopping the day after the date in the notice, even though inspecting the URL say's they are in listed on google, which they are clearly not.

All notices are reporting cam embeds, so no breach of DMCA, but now I am left with thousands of pages, a lot of which don't relate to the model which the DMCA agent has report on the behalf of, permanently deleted from google, as the 10 days counter timescale has lapsed.

No way to counter, as no notice notifications received and require a reference ID now to counter.

Another point: the web property is correctly configured in GSC to the domain https://www.* all traffic redirects to this too, all notices sent to google are reporting URL in this format too, but still only the one notification from Google out of thousands showing in Lumen.

How do you deal with such an issue?

There was a thread like this started last week or 2 weeks ago. It's ridiculous.

I thought the 10 day period was for them to respond to your counter notice. You should still be able to respond on your end. I've never heard only having 10 days to respond to a DMCA takedown request. I know I've taken way longer than 10 days many times.

As they are historic, and google now requires a reference ID to counter, plus having only received the single notification for a report (last September), which contains no reference, I am left with no way to counter. I think them requiring an notice ID is a new feature, can't seem to get to the counter notice feature without requiring a reference ID.

Thanks - Yes same issue.

Except domain correctly configured in GSC and all notices to the prefix I have configured it to. Receiving one notification from google would suggest they would notify me if they intend to give the notices credit and de-index my URL, but like I say google transparency report states not reindexed, GSC searching url states listed on google, but traffic/impressions stop day after notice and searching URL in google brings up nothing so clearly de-indexed.

All fake notices as a result of some badly configured DMCA bot. Cant even contact the claimant to demand they stop. Who are: CopyrightFortress, Content Security Pl…, DMCA Sentinel Elite, ContentShield, Copyright Monitor Plus, DigitalPropertySentry, Legal Rights, Content Protector Pro, Digital Compliance Plus.. Hundred of different alias, all clearly linked as notices are in waves from all these on same date(s).

You are welcome.
You mean reports are limited to single email address?
Make 100 of them.

No, I have used a couple of emails to circumvent that limit.

I get a "You have been submitting a request recently, try again later." Which takes a good number of hours to clear.

So the limit may be per IP - use proxies.

I'm still not getting DMCA notifications. Most are by that company Rulta, and are targeting pages that have names like chat girl, or OF names in the content somewhere on the page. I have some erotic stories written without images and those have been removed.

How the heck do we get notices? I checked my webmaster tools and added all the prefixes but still get no notices?

Do you file an appeal (Counter Notice) of all the links DMCA'ed of your site in the single appeal, or do many different appeals one by one?

Most are a single notice with a single URL (plus other sites), but thousands of notices, so have to go through the process of checking each on Lumen.

Yes, but when you have a full URLs list for a single domain - do you file an appeal (Counter Notice) of these in a single one to Google?

If the reason for reinstatement is similar, I believe you can do like a hundred at a time.

You can, I just wish I was easily able to access more than a couple of Lumen notices a day.

Will just have to do a few a day and keep an eye out for any new notices.

Should only take a year

I am just accessing the notices that Lumen legitimately permits, so a couple a day, usually just a single URL, grouping the URLs into a single counter notice.

Plus on notices I have not accessed (I don't have the full URL), I am using the information available (eg. acting on behalf of 'model name'), doing a google search to see if my URL relating to that model is in google search, if not adding that to it.

As there is so many but have to access as many notices to get URLs, I don't want to trigger something that makes them look like false by bypassing restrictions, trying to do it by the book to ensure everything gets reinstated.

I wonder what big mainstream sites do? They must get hit as well.

I wonder if RateMD or Livestrong get hit with bots too?

Looking them up at https://transparencyreport.google.com/copyright/overview it looks like they get less of it. S lot of the problem in this industry is all the companies whose whole function is to run DMCA bots all day. I don't think I've seen that in other spaces.

Yeah. Nothing brings reality back to us so viscerally as when we see how nobody cares one bit about adult.

In the newest version of the Google DMCA emails if you file an appeal (counter them) than you will get a unique form and if you click in the box you will see the URL(s) you got the email for.

We monitor Google Search Console 0-24, it is useful not just to counter the DMCAs.

I am not receiving any emails about reinstated URLs after filling counter notices for more than a month I think.
