i don't think that's how SWOIT works, your members don't get access to all the sites in the SWOIT network, SWOIT members get access to a bunch of paysites. You get paid a % of SWOIT's revenues for making your paysite accessible to SWOIT's members.

if it works the way u say it does, there are a whole lotta content providers who have no idea.

Uhm, Imagine, I have paysites A, B, C.

Other paysites in the Swoit network are D, E, F(so individuals like me)
Swoits' own sites are G, H, I

Will my members have access to, ABC +GHI?

not sure, maybe your members will have access to sites run and owned by Swoit, A,B,C.

from what I figured out tho, your members (A,B,C) don't get access to G,H,I.

There are no swoits own sites. It is just a pool of paysites where ppl buy a membership to and you get paid (as a partner) for the time they stay on your site(s)...

Mutt, from what I have read, your worries are exactly how it works. Basically, a share members area, and I imagine a whole lot of content licenses being broken.

Hi Guys

I think this thread highlights the biggest thing regarding Swoit at the moment - that is, webmasters aren't really sure how it works or how it will make them richer.

Swoit has been running for just over a month now, and in that month we've taken the time to try lots of different things to see what works best for webmasters. We've tried free trials, paid trials, no trials etc. We've kept a very close eye on retention with all these changes, and we're now at a stage where we're very happy with it (and conversions from trial to recurring). We are confident that we have a product that is better than most others out there, will now concentrate on marketing.

To answer a few of your questions -

1/ Once a swoit member joins swoit, he gets unlimited access to all the sites in Swoit. That over 150 and growing daily and the diversity is just incredible. That is why we are very, very happy with our retentions :-)))

2/ Content licenses - There are two things here. Firstly, sites that participate in Swoit and not breaking license. Technically, swoit members are actually becoming temporary members of the paysite and visiting it for a period of time.

There is no licensed content being displayed to members from anywhere except the paysite that it has been licensed to. And if paysites experience an increase in traffic, then if anything, they will most likeley have to pay their content providers a little more for bandwidth.. but at least they're being paid by Swoit for their effort.

Secondly, we're always on the lookout for niche cam type sites (college girl putting herself through college) where there is exclusive amateur content/cams licensed to the paysite owner. These sites retain well and make their owners lots of minutes.

3/ Minutes - This is a little confusing, but essentially we look at all the 'visits' Swoit members have made to the paysites each day, and work out their percentage compared to all the other sites. We then apportiona chunk of our daily rebills to each site. It is still early days, so we're not making millionairres of our webmasters yet, but we're going to cap the number of paysites eventually and as we grow the $$ will start looking alot better.


Anyway, in a nut shell, we are now very happy with our product and the kinds of returns it can deliver. We have a very solid relationship with our biller and look forward to doing biz with you in the future.

Your members get access to all other swoit sites (if your members joined up with Swoit)

Otherwise your members dont access the other sites.

Check You first have to upsell them, and then they get access to all those sites

your normal members only get your site.. It doesnt change how your site works.
