Situation: one fine day, a certain girl writes to the agency's owner in a private message and says about how it is not shameful for the agency to continue to earn money on a dead model....I tell you. After this message, of course, we began to sort out which model we were talking about and what happened. We keep in touch with the models, but of course we don't write to them every day - we just do our job and agree to interact as needed. So, we did not communicate with the model for 2-3 days and as it turned out during this time the girl committed suicide, under the influence of drugs. To say that we were shocked is not to say anything. All the more shocked to learn about it in this way. After this news we withdrew all the funds from the account and transferred to the family of the girl.Take care of yourself and if you have psychological problems, be sure to turn to professionals.
The dead model...

Some companies out of respect will remove the content while others won't
Sad that this happens and there really isn't anything in the rule book to handle what to do other than your own direction of right and wrong.
Agreed that if you're feeling this there is help no matter where you live -
Anyone who feels the content they create would be disrespectful to a model after they pass away ... should really reconsider what kind of content they are creating or reconsider their attitudes about sexuality and female agency.
I mean, of course, if it is the model's content and you are just managing it for her, then it is up to your agreement with the model and not up to you.Comment

You are creating art, with willing participants of meeting minds, and most people are creating vile and disgraceful acts shot on camera, without any forefront to not only what will happen with the content, or to the performer. As long as she's looking like the girl next door, and does it all... the better.. mental health? not even a thought.Anyone who feels the content they create would be disrespectful to a model after they pass away ... should really reconsider what kind of content they are creating or reconsider their attitudes about sexuality and female agency.

In any case, for sure, nothing should be pulled on your end of things -- ever... but can't say the same for others, however.Sorrow and solitude, these are the precious things, and the only words that are worth rememberin'Comment

Agreed. Women make decisions and are able to do so just like men.
To take the content down would be admitting that it is harmful to her memory in some way.
Imagine we did the same for dead actors.Comment

That is an absolutely asinine statement to make. So, the dudes have nothing to do with making babies? Or they just aren't responsible for it?All cookies cleared!Comment

I agree. I have two girls on Yanks who have passed. I have not taken them down as I know they each produced for a decade after they passed and they liked the work they did with us, and told that to me directly. If their families asked me to remove it, I would. But I won't remove it just because they passed. I would not want Yanks removed if I died.Anyone who feels the content they create would be disrespectful to a model after they pass away ... should really reconsider what kind of content they are creating or reconsider their attitudes about sexuality and female agency.

the sad part is soon their beloved boohoo family and friends will forget about them and you may have the only surviving images of them. ive filmed quite a few models who have expressed to me they wanna be remembered and ego fed its not always about the money. so i say keep the content up unless model ghosts are haunting you at night. wow thats a good idea ©Comment
