        AI looks strong only at first sight. Let's take a cliche example "Ai gonna destroy programmers"
        Anyone who has used ChatGPT for code (even a small one) will agree with me that it's a dull tool. You need to refix everything he writes.

        not to mention big systems. So basically if you are a "programmer" from tiktok you are doomed but if you are an expert you have nothing to worry about.

        Personally for myself AI is just a new SE. Google 2.0 nothing more.

            In my first day of using Unreal engine, I played around with a ton of things and downloading assets and textures took longer than I had to play with the design mode!

            Working on my first demo block with destructible environment and a single thug to beat the ever living shit out of. I want to make sure I can throw the thug into the front window of KANG'S records and have the window look smashed. Need an overlay texture sprite or something, particle effect when thug's face smashes into it.

            AI is awesome, it makes google so useless. Asking Google a question is like the last thing you want to do because google is so shit now. Ask AI and you get an answer that works 99/100 times right away.

                    People were afraid of losing their jobs when home computers were introduced, and then later when the Internet and world wide web people were afraid then too. AI will definately transform, and some may lose their jobs, but it will create new jobs too.

                            I did not say everyone will be unemployed, in my original post, I just raised legitimate concerns and asked for external opinions.
                            And on that last post, I talk about extremist people who say AI will rule the world and set it on fire.

                            I do not expect you to understand what a fair assessment is at this point

                            But this is what i'm trying to reach on the subject : a fair assessment.
                            Or an objective, unbiased opinion.

                                                Yesterday I asked ChatGPT - does it mean that AI will be able to reverse engineer machine code into source code? That is, there will be no need to steal the source code of new Windows or GTA, but one can just ask AI to analyze the binaries and get source listings ready for compilation. It answered - absolutely YES.
