                                                      Uh, no. Emulators are not illegal, and if you own a copy of the game that you download the rom for, that's not illegal either. Falls under fair use. What emu sites are and emulators in general are is a target of persecution by companies that will do everything they can to protect their bottom line.

                                                      Emus and roms are NOT illegal. However, that said, 12Clicks is well within his rights to reject that kind of traffic, although I'm not sure why he would, it would seem to be a natural matchup.. What's the reason Ron?

I've noticed that it's not stated right off the bat, that you have to submit your email, area code, and country first, then after that, it asks for personal info and phone selection. I've seen that plans start at $29.99 per month though.

                                                                                      Where I'm at, I renewed a 1 year contract with my cell phone company and paid $50 for a $160 Motorola cell phone, which I got a $50 rebate with that, which was put as a credit to my phone bill, so I got the phone for free and I got 2000 bonus minutes to be used within the year, and my plan is 300 minutes for $17.95 per month.

                                                                                      I just wanted to know how many minutes people will get for $30 a month to see if it's kinda competative with other companies out there.

I was thinking that since the phone was free, that in order for you to make a profit, you'd have to charge more monthly, giving out less minutes, but you proved me wrong there. That blows my deal out of the water, ha ha ha.

Concerning prices things are fucked up, we have the cheapest prices for cell phones and the highest cost of static phone. I pay for my 56k connection about $180/month (phone calls). Also we have the 2nd highest taxes on cars in the world after Portugal. Every car you see in Greece costed for the owner about double price than in most of the European countries. On the other hand, wine is cheaper than coca-cola :-)

                                                                                                                  At least in my area - it appears they are selling AT&T Wireless phones (based on the model numbers and plan amounts). I used to work for them, and they are a pretty good company. The phones they are giving away are a little bit older, are they refurbished?

                                                                                                                  The activation fee is $10 more than with AT&T Direct - and I guess this is how they are able to pay those pretty good commissions

                                                                                                                  I was able to get most people approved with AT&T, but of course you will get people who fill out fake info, etc, much more than you would at a store.

                                                                                                                  The 1250 minutes is only 250 peak - the other plans seem much better.

                                                                                                                  I also note that you refer to peak time as being from 7am to 9pm. AT&T Changed this sometime ago to 7am to 8pm.

                                                                                                                  Also, you refer to free long distance being available. That was AT&T's promotion last month (in my area - promotions differ from place to place) - it is over now - are you sure you are still able to offer this?

                                                                                                                  One of the great things about AT&T and people with bad credit - is that I was still able to get them a Cell Phone if they had a credit card. AT&T Calls it SLM or Service Limit Monitoring. It is NOT a deposit, but what happens is AT&T will charge their card every month for their bill amount or $200 - what ever comes first. In most cases, people will never hit the $200 - so they get charged every month for their bill amount.

                                                                                                                  Since they use different carriers, I am not sure you could market it as such - but that option appeared for me when doing a pretend check out on their system.

So that is a good deal - and the phones are Digital Multi Network - which is cool.

                                                                                                                              Other places gave away free phones, but they weren't digital like these.

                                                                                                                              I think the SLM thing would be great to market to people with bad credit. I almost ALWAYS made a sale when people asked about their credit and I told them about it. Back then, ATTWS was the only ones that offered it.

                                                                                                                              Since you use more than just AT&T, I am not sure you could market it as such, but if you could - well you could clean up. Most people with bad credit always think they will have to make a deposit - which isn't true.

                                                                                                                              I guess you could market it as "We work with different carriers, so we are most likely able to find a plan that is good for you - even if you have bad credit - sometimes without even a deposit."

There are several in the works but most likely the first of these (and probably the best for our online market) is the plan for 18-24 year olds. They will automatically be approved weather they have NO credit history or very little.

                                                                                                                                                                                                  We were ctivating for worldcom and they were paying about 350.00 per activation. ATT, Verison and Cingular weren't paying anywhere near that but gradually upped their offers beyond what was resonable (in their mind) because worldcom was taking all of the business. Obviously, being who we are, we poured worldcom all the activations they could handle growing to their 3rd or 4th largest agent behind radio shack, best buy, and someone else who I can't remember.
                                                                                                                                                                                                  Then one day we got a call saying stop. Obviously, we reached out to the other carriers but once worldcom was out of the game, the other companies went back to paying next to nothing and didn't want to have a national distributer.
                                                                                                                                                                                                  The business simply went away, worldcom stiffed us for the last 1.5 million dollar check and another several ghundred thousand in residuals.
                                                                                                                                                                                                  We shrugged it off, sold the domains, and moved on.
