    here is yet another thread of grief:

    His sites are automatically changing password or having login issues once I use his admin

    So, I worked on one site today, logged out, can't log back in.

    Konrad, answer your emails and please address these issues asap.

                      Presumably, you got someone else/your host to do your install, cos username/password can be changed as many times as you want yourself, just by quickly editing two lines in only config file the install asks you to edit. Just read the install notes.

                                                                                                      Mechbunny didn't rip you off. If there was a problem with setting something so ridiculous as user/pass with the CMS you bought, don't you think you wouldn't be the ONLY one posting about it?

                                                                                                      You got some issue at your end needs tweaking. Host should be able to fix it.

                                                                                                      You buy a script, the author doesn't have to install it. But I'm pretty sure Mechbunny will do a first one for free. Then you can just copy any tweaks that might be needed cos of server set-up in future installs.

                                                                                                      If you go screaming and shouting I've been ripped off every time someone ain't at your beck and call, nobody's gonna want to sell you anything.

Mech works well if you can't code your own, and could help you with other scripts offered when the time is right for that (one at a time) if you weren't so invested in burning bridges

That is 7 years old. I have made updates to it, mainly updating stuff for different php versions and such but the base code hasn't changed a whole lot. I think this one is just doing female cams as I added the other categories later.

There are many different reasons with a really big one being patience.

                                                                                                                                                                                              After I put that up as a site, it sat for 6 months before any search engines noticed it. When they did notice it, G put it in top positions for a whole shit load of good search terms. I was in number 1 for "free adult webcams" for a good long time. I was in top 3 on probably 15 or 20 really good search terms. I got bombed with traffic. Once G picked it up, a bunch of top porn lists put it on their lists, this led to more good positions which led to more..... Also, unbeknownst to me, some of the people that used the script, or that I helped in some way along the way listed it on their sites, several review sites, a couple of blogs. It grew quite naturally. It was all very cool.

                                                                                                                                                                                              The reason for that happening, as far as I can tell, is that I used a very unique structure. I was loading everything via javascript. Back then, the SE bots didn't follow java script, so to them the site looked like a single page little information site. I didn't have any outbound links, I had little to zero inbound links. There were some links from people that used the script and forgot to change variables or text and left the original camfoxes text in place. The only reason that has ever made sense to me was that it was a very unique structure that Google didn't really understand.

                                                                                                                                                                                              Nowadays, the bots can follow the javascript, so the tricks don't work as well.

                                                                                                                                                                                              I already gave you the tip "be patient".

In content or in structure or in whatever way you can figure out, be unique.

I was in top 3 on probably 15 or 20 really good search terms. I got bombed with traffic. It was all very cool.

I was loading everything via javascript. Back then, the SE bots didn't follow java script, so to them the site looked like a single page little information site. I didn't have any outbound links, I had little to zero inbound links. There were some links from people that used the script and forgot to change variables or text and left the original camfoxes text in place. The only reason that has ever made sense to me was that it was a very unique structure that Google didn't really understand.
