You use all your time making a cool site that will sell like crazy...

It all looks perfect even in standard 800x600 resolution

U take a look in netscape & the site suck azz

Now I have to use fucking 5 hours more to make it look good in netscape!

Only 4% of my surfers is netscape... but thats 100% possible lost sales...

I usually build sites, and check them (while I'm building them) in both IE, and netscape. It saves a ton of frustration, and time.

always check in both....

but admit it.... making sites look good and function well is easy in IE.... netscape really sux... And they know that... they got people help big sites to have em function in netscape...

hehe maybee they're gonna help me out with my pornsite.... think not!

I agree their security is better BUT only because people dont't bother trying to find securityholes in netscape!

17 netscape users today... I could redirect em to microsoft maybee...lol

I ignore netscape entirely. If you're using Netscape, and you come to my site and it's fucked up, maybe that will clue you in that netscape sucks ass.

I can live without that 4% of traffic. If you're using netscape, you're probably too stupid to understand what the strange letters "credit card number" mean anyway. ;>

I use and like Netscape 4.xx,
I check pages with IE to make sure
they look ok.
Screw netscape 6.xx

Been using Netscape from day one that
they put in on the market.
Ran down to Fry's and "BOUGHT" it.

Of course IE was just a thought then.

And most of you people got IE
with windows for ""FREE"" and never bothered
to look at any thing else.

Heck with Netscape came out most of you didn't know what the Internet was.

6.00 was a setback in internetstandards.... yeah we all got IE for free....

Wasn't too many years, there were NO Browser.
My first Internet account was lifetime for
$ 20.00, of course all I could get was
newsgroups.
Couldn't even find Porn in them then, at least I couldn't.

I got's this big ass fly, flying around going to ZAP

I uninstalled the peice of shit and yet when eevr i click on a link from AOL instant maessenager a friend sends me that peice some how opens up and it drives me up the wall!!!

Fuck Netscape.

They can barely get HTML to look right, much less get style sheets to look right. Somewhere around version 4.7 they really took a turn for the worst.

M$ has been surprisingly good about their browser. Makes me a bit nervous actually. I heard they let the W3C iron out the details of CSS and then M$ applied for a patent on it.

I haven't followed this too much, but is there an OpenSource browser that's coming along nicely?

Oh, and good luck getting NS off there Keev! I installed a newer version of the Netscape AD browser some time ago but I'm on a completely new hardrive now. If I remember correctly, NS was still on the old one when we wiped it.

Yes, there's the Mozilla browser ( http://www.mozilla.org/ ). It supports the CSS standard very well, and its rendering of web pages is close to IE's. Furthermore, Netscape 6 and above is based on Mozilla.

Don't worry, Netscape is ultimately dissapearing, they announced that 6.0 was their last version and that they were out of the browser market to pursue more lucrative ventures...
