    a better kind of mousover?

    I know for certain I was on a site somewhere and they had one kickass mouseover. Most mouseovers when you put the mouse over it shows whatever you want it to, but when you click and hold you see your sponsor code in the status bar.
    This particular mouseover that I saw when you clicked and held the status bar still did not reveal the exact URL, but the URL you want it to show!!

    Does anybody know the coding for this? I would be much indepted to you if you could show me this. THANKS!

      hm.. it's done in javascript and it's something like active() .. i'm not sure.. why don't you check out the code of that site? ..

          - works good enough for me.. it fools IE, not Netscape..

              Maybe you saw a 404 redirect.
              You make give a link like www.blahblah.com/images/free.jpg people click that but the htaccess you made redirects it to a trade. I use that and it looks damn real. But this only works with cj's not sure if you were talking about that.

                  I created a diabolical mouseover that sends a shock to the users mousehand when he runs over the link with his mouse.
                  Here it is:

                          I'm trying to get a script where I can control someone's soul through their mouse...

                          maybe I'll have to add:
                          onaction="get.soul='sold.for.eternity';return true"
