(anyone else think the whole SCO-*nix legal battle reeks of corporate espionage dedicated to undermining the entire destop computing community?...Somewhere is there a Redmond connection?)

NEW YORK, May 28 (Reuters) - The SCO Group Inc. (nasdaq: SCOX - news - people) on Wednesday said it owned the contract rights to the Unix operating system, dismissing a claim from Novell Inc (nasdaq: SCOX - news - people) that it had no rights to the software.

So my own linux distro compilled completely by me from the source code belongs to SCO ? no way.

Unix is an actual os, and should not be confused with "*nix", in which one can include linux.

Also... SCO crashes a lot... It is as stable as my winblow$ 98 that I use to play games.
