Viewing Porn on a mobile phone

Yep, me too and of course they are, especially in 3rd world countries almost everyone owns a mobile phone, but not a PC/laptop.

Something to bear in mind, is that a lot of the younger generation dont have a PC - They use there phone for everything - Even joining porn sites!

But the screen is so small on a phone! Yes, but...

The people I know who dont have computers will use the phone to join the screencast direct to the 65inch 4K TV...

You can watch porn on the TV easily enough - But more difficult to use the TV to join up or pay...

90%+. If you aren't designing your sites mobile-first you are doing it wrong.

Viewing porn on a big TV would be good if they know how to do that. I just don't think you can beat watching porn whilst sat at your desk in front of a big monitor. Mouse on the right and a box of tissues on the left. The perfect set up.

Anyone with analytics will know and can find that on average 50% *sometimes more" use their mobile device to view porn or buy adult products using their phone. This has gone up over the years and make sense since computers store information and a phone can be easily cleared of search history if need be quickly.

Russia and Ukraine had the greatest year-over-year increases, at +10 and +11 respectively. The world is in agreement that we're doing more, more often on our mobile devices. While some of us haven't gotten to the point of being able to fully function online on just our mobile devices, the world is waiting for us to get with the program and ditch our desktops for phones with "Pro" in the name.

Thanks. Very interesting to read. So anyone who has a website should make sure it's optimized for best mobile phone experience. I understand why more and more people are using their mobile phones for everything. I was surprised that so many people viewed porn on a mobile phone. Maybe at work perhaps and then when home view it on a big computer screen. I think mobile phones are very useful and I use mine when I'm out to do a bit of browsing or check emails. But I would never give up the ultimate web browsing experience of a PC with a big monitor. On a desk with a mouse. The old fashioned way but absolutely the best way to view porn and do things online. A mobile phone could never be better than that. Maybe more convenient for some things but never better. I think something has been lost with fewer and fewer people buying and owning PC's.

I'm surprised - IF you have google analytics on your website the information should all be there in reports - Tech - Overview and you'll get all the details you want

I once had Google Analytics many years ago but stopped using it for some reason. I'll start using them again as I'm taking more of an interest in the sites these days and am keen to make more money so they should be useful.

Yes, that's true. I suppose it's a whole new generation who look at porn on their mobile phone because that's all they've ever known. They were brought up with a mobile phone that they do everything on. Most websites look good on a mobile phone now as they are designed to look good and function well on a mobile phone. It would be interesting to know how many older people are using mobile phones to look at porn. Say, people over 50. Their first experience of the Internet would have been on a PC. I'm sure a lot of those people didn't go over to just using a mobile phone to view porn later on. By comparison using a mobile phone instead of a PC would have been poor. I certainly haven't and I'm over 50. Mobile phones are great but you just can't beat a PC with a big monitor and a mouse to navigate. For most things but especially for porn.

It's a lot easier to hide from your wife in the bathroom with a smartphone than with a desktop computer ;)

And honestly, unless you're into gaming, or working with computers -- what's the point of having one?
Sure sure, looking at porn, but I'm going to assume most porn surfers aren't that dedicated to their naughty past time.

This. People with desktops still look at porn on their phones because it's quick and private.

On most of our sites (or sites that we manage ads for) around 75% is mobile and only 1/4 desktop traffic.

Many phone users will buy a new phone because they dk how to clear up space, or history.
