Business How would you a Chaturbate affiliate account?

I always wondered if there was some formula & multipliers, like in the SaaS world.

I generated $550K in commission so far, still raking about 7/12K a month without registering new users, and I was wondering if it would be a good thing to sell, and if so, how would one calculate what is an account worth?

Edit: fuck i forgot a word in the title.

It's worth what someone is willing to pay for it.

If the income has been stable for many years you could maybe ask 2-3x

There is always a risk with affiliate payments though. Spenders can stop at anytime

Are you selling a chaturbate account as is without the sales methods? If so, maybe 2 months max revenue.

I guess I got lucky in the past and bought a good flirt4free account and a smaller streamate wl from an old writer for 6-8 months rev..

I know I would never sell my accounts.. but It would also be hard to buy someone elses for more than a year since it will be a dying asset

I was asking for the price of a customer base and regs thats are spending (1400+ spenders, 40K+ regs)

The method I got them has not much to do with the actual revenues stream

In the end, I'll just keep raking 10K a month and see where it leads.

But to the people mentionning 2/3 months revenues, that's delusional, at least from where i come from and the last 5 years of stable revenues I got.

I think 6-12 months revenue is the max you'd be able to sell it for. An affiliate account that doesn't come with a steady inflow of new signups is not the same as selling a business.

                            Yeah you're probably right.

There's no incentive to sell really as from an affiliate POV. I'd cut my balls if I dont get another 250/500K from these spenders and the new free regs converting

I would just keep the account if it has constant sales TBH.

Presuming your account is registered to an individual and not an entity, and as you need to be a ID verified as an affiliate, have you checked that Chaturbate allow the transfer of affiliate accounts from one person to another?

Don't mean to be rude but that's absurd.

Selling a brick and mortar business at that multiple would make sense, but you don't even own the assets. Chaturbate could make 1 policy change and the business would be dead overnight.

Have you approached CB itself to see if they would be willing to buy it out for a lump sum? I'd be curious to see their valuation since they'd be in the best position to analyze what your account is worth (although their price may not reflect that).

                                        Good idea.

This would be a great feature for sponsors to incorporate into their programs. An affiliate account valuation of what the sponsor would buy the account for, kind of like cashing out with betting, not sure how practical and could possibly be open to fraud.

Still, your suggestion is something I would have never have thought of.
