Some hotels charge another $20-40 for parking. So an advertised $100 a night room could end up costing $200 a night after room rate, resort fee, parking, and taxes. It should all be disclosed but you may not see it until the very end of the online booking process, so check that last screen carefully!
Really tricky. Some try to hide it in the small prints. Polo Towers also, if you book by Hilton, you have resort fees. When you book at a private owner of an apartment for Polo Towers on airbnb, it might be included. Same with some other hotels like Wyndham Dessert. And depends per booking platform if they mention the price with or without resort feest. Sorting the hotel search results on price won't show the cheapest room.

Just a trick to pay affiliate travel webmasters less money, you get a % over the hotel room, but not the resort fees.

I already booked my room at Virgin - I called rather than do it online, they'll likely help out a bit more and give info you need
first they don't have limo's / buses from airport to hotel
second if you have diabetes or need to take meds etc they do have medical fridges
rooms are going quickly but let them know your flight schedule so they know when you arrive
what I can see - room service is cheaper than going to the restaurants
they are very friendly and accommodating

outside of that I dont know about smoking policy
drink lots of water while there as well
