I am looking to improve our ranking for a low value search terms. Intererested in purchasing backlinks specifically interersted in improving our google search result ranking.

As a complete novice could anyone suggest a company that can provide backlinks and also how relevant this is to SEO? It seems that google search ranking is really the best way to drive relevant traffic to the site?

Thanks in advance for any advice or reccomendations.

I usually don't post to questions like this but first google just ignores spammy backlinks.

Search engine rankings, relevance, and page authority are all factors for Google backlinking. The editorial value of your hyperlinks is also something Google considers in backlink quality. The value of high-quality backlinks to your site can't be overstated, especially if you want to rank well in search results

      Backlinks to avoid?

Paid Links. Search engines look at your site's value based on how well it's been liked by other real and earned sites.
Backlinks in Press Releases That Are Not Newsworthy.
      Low-Quality or Irrelevant Directory Links.
      Low-Quality Forum Backlinks.
      Domains with High Spam Score.

and to note that recently Google has been aware and watching purchasing expired domains with backlnks

Here I mention a few ideas

      https://www.robertwarrenseo.com/doma...e-position.php

      Build Quality Backlinks:
      3. Link Building Strategies: Develop a comprehensive link building strategy focusing on acquiring backlinks from authoritative and relevant websites within your industry.
Guest Blogging: Identify reputable websites in your niche that accept guest posts and contribute high-quality articles that provide value to their audience.
Broken Link Building: Find broken links on other websites within your niche and reach out to the site owners suggesting your content as a replacement.
Content Promotion: Actively promote your content through social media, email newsletters, and outreach campaigns to increase its visibility and attract natural backlinks.

      4. Internal Linking:
Contextual Links: Incorporate internal links within your content to connect related pages on your website. This not only helps users navigate your site but also distributes link equity throughout your domain.
Anchor Text Optimization: Use descriptive anchor text that accurately represents the content of the linked page. Avoid generic phrases like "click here" and instead use keywords relevant to the linked page.

Most links are paid for in adult. Also most guest posts are paid for. Haven't met a single soul who gives out free guest posts

Actually, Saucytime, while it's true that some collaborations involve payment, not all links in guest posts are paid for. Many reputable websites accept guest contributions without any exchange of money, focusing instead on the quality and relevance of the content.

These guest posts serve to provide value to their audience and establish authority within the industry, rather than solely for the purpose of link building.

TheLegacy is right, and you would do well for yourself by following his advice.

Also, It's important to differentiate between legitimate, organic guest posting opportunities and paid link schemes, as the former can contribute positively to your website's SEO while the latter can result in penalties from search engines.

                This is correct.

All the sites above me in the SERPs I am targetting pay for back links. I know this for a fact because most of them have asked me for a paid backlink at some point, lol.

I have never paid for a backlink, and Google still hit me hard with the HCU update.

It seems most affiliate sites have not been able to stop the bleeding since the HCU update in September, whether they had decent links or not.

Porndude is an exception, he had a rocket like boost after HCU updates.
