the original factory automation game spawning a new branch in the gaming industry is nucking in sales! it has always had the same exact price & never ever in over 14 years went on a steam sale, its still beating every clone out there & sometime in the next year will come the biggest extention of the original game goal:

Crash land on an alien planet. collect & mine resources to build a factory that will build a rocket & launch in into space to escape... &crash land again & escape again & crash land again... & again & again until? until?

as you play you start to meld into teh universe of logic & automation. THE FACTORY MUST GROW! is a standard motivational quote among the r/factorio community
smashing the rocks & trees with bare hands. enriching nuclear fuel in the pockets makes you wonder

until you realize ur not crash landing & fleeing or trying to return home to your family... the engineer, as your characters exosuit makes it imposible to tell if boy or girl... i mean what girl in her sane mind would be able to pull a planetary factory out of her underpants!
each time a rocket has launched the engineer, you have completely destroyed the native population of ugly insect swarm like nightmares... you might thing the aliens are evil & want to kill & maim all life in the universe! BUTT upon arrival they live in peace among themselves. No war, famine, murder or theft asss they are all equal.

Up until the engineer crash lands... builds a gigantic factory consuming all natural resources & poluting until the trees wither & the water turns green while smoke clouds darken the skies!
Once his mission of building a factory to assemble the rocket is complete you just leave & let your self-sustaining factory run until eternity aggroing the natives with its pollution! polutions whitch turns the pacific native species into the eldritch terrors from your worst nightmares!

long story short, the engineer you play is an ancient intergalactic eldritch terror!


that was the educational gaming story, now comes the fun part! Playing the game on my self hosted server from home!

i build the metal with my hands, pluged it in, installed the operating system, installed the control panel to manage the webserver. Then installed & configured factorios server. loaded my save game, mods & setting & went on playing & streaming. right up until now!
