    how the fuck do you even get youtube views

    so I started a channel based only on short sports clips.. I basically just look around for good short clips of sports moments then edit them to remove the sound for copyright add some caption then add them to the channel... I've done this 30 times already... so I have like 30 of these cliips and not a single one has even gotten 1 view...

    Yet one time I uploaded a random meaningless 10 second long clip of a video I took in thailand and 30 minutes later it had 18,000 views..

      I would think keywords. Plus sports videos, you may be competing against some heavy sports youtube channels, where the keywords are already taken, they may even pay google for ranking.

                  that was a fluke. I tried uploading the same video to another channel and it got 0 views.

                      For starters open a channel on a new pc with a proxy etc. goog/yt will suppress your reach if you’re not down with uncle sniffy.

                      Here is a test. Go to yt without being signed in from anything.. if you have views counterpoint to what you see in this scenario, you’re going to get overlooked like peter dinklage at an NBA tryout.

                                          I'd even one step further and use a mobile device connected to the mobile network (no wifi) in a privacy enhanced browser such as Brave/DuckDuckGo.

                                              Here's how I get lots of organic views for my channels

                                              1) Find channels in related niches

                                              2) Using the official Youtube handle of my channels, comment on low view videos in related channels and talk about the topic of the video and how it relates to MY channel's content

                                              3) Grow my subscriber base organically using this way - this tends to lead to higher engagement which Youtube then REWARDS by recommending my videos more which then leads to MORE subscribers

                                              NOTE: this technique is slower than just hiring a SMM boosting service but it is PURELY ORGANIC and leads to a MORE LOYAL and ENGAGED subscriber base

                                                                      before someone hacked my YT and got it banned i had 1 video with over 100k views. it was a video i made for my dad to help him do something on an app on his nvidia shield he had at the time. i thought it would help others so i posted on my YT and put the right keywords. forgot all about it until one day i checked and saw it had over 100k views.

                                                                      i think with sports videos they are kinda over used and those already well know with tons of subs will get the views over someone who is new. even my kid who does make good edits with sport vids but on tiktok hardly gets views when its something overdone IMO
