you're talking to an atheist half breed who grew up Native. religion wasn't exactly kind to our people. I known exactly what you mean

closest I can get to a god/goddess is respect for the planet, our resources, care for the beings we share it with. non violence

of course, but I think it extends beyond that. it's not all just about us

if we're not strong we can't do shit for ourselves, for others in our circles, our communities, other people in other countries we've never met. which all feeds our souls too. part of being a participant on the planet

I need to do some reading on your belief system, it can't be all self-involved, right?

I dunno, have to read, just crazy busy exhausting day. but I will, I'm interested in understanding something I know nothing about

haha, we turned a Swift thread into a cool convo

both of us destined to burn in hell
throwing molotav cocktails at the precinct

Anton LaVey was also an atheist. He set up his Church of Satan to avoid taxes in the USA

High priest Peter Gilmore describes its members as "skeptical atheists", indicating the Hebrew root of the word "Satan" as "opposer" or "one who questions".
LaVey was an atheist who rejected the existence of all gods, of any afterlife, and of Satan as an entity who literally exists. The use of Satan as a central figure was intentionally symbolic. LaVey sought to cement his belief system within the secularist world-view that derived from natural science, thus providing him with an atheistic basis with which to legitimized his religion, and criticize Christianity and other supernaturalist beliefs as irrational. He defined Satanism as "a secular philosophy of rationalism and self-preservation (natural law, animal state), giftwrapping these ideas in religious trappings to add to their appeal." In this way, LaVeyan Satanism has been described as an "antireligious religion" by Rubin van Luijk.
These are Eleven Satanic Rules of the Earth:
      1. Do not give opinions or advice unless you are asked.
      2. Do not tell your troubles to others unless you are sure they want to hear them.
      3. When in another's home, show them respect or else do not go there.
      4. If a guest in your home annoys you, treat them cruelly and without mercy.
      5. Do not make sexual advances unless you are given the mating signal.
      6. Do not take that which does not belong to you unless it is a burden to the other person and they cry out to be relieved.
      7. Acknowledge the power of magic if you have employed it successfully to obtain your desires. If you deny the power of magic after having called upon it with success, you will lose all you have obtained.
      8. Do not complain about anything to which you need not subject yourself.
      9. Do not harm little children.
      10. Do not kill non-human animals unless you are attacked or for your food.
      11. When walking in open territory, bother no one. If someone bothers you, ask him to stop. If he does not stop, destroy him

      The Nine Satanic Sins
      1. Stupidity
      2. Pretentiousness
      3. Solipsism
      4. Self-deceit
      5. Herd Conformity
      6. Lack of Perspective
      7. Forgetfulness of Past Orthodoxies
      8. Counterproductive Pride
      9. Lack of Aesthetics

Being obsessed with celebrities is the biggest waste of time ever...some people think their lives will never end.
I agree, some even cry. This has been happening for a long time now.
When I drive I hear celebrity news, gossip, etc. as if it's worthy news.
There's people that have boring lives, all they have is the above..

True, but they mostly have boring lives because they focus on the life of other people, not their own. its very sad.
