SEO People ie WG, SEGURU, ETC
I have a couple non adult sites that I need to get up in the engines the sites are brand new and kicking around 1k unique visitors a day very very niche traffic, and have about 80- 100 link partners. I am considering getting listed in some of the paid directories ie yahoo, as well as getting into dmoz as soon as its reviewed. What kind of PR jump should one expect from each listing if not both?

keev. if you get in dmoz and google directory, expect at least a pr4 or PR5 with less than 50 good linkbacks,
one of my sites got a PR3 without being listed in any directory, and maybe 4 very low PR linkbacks.. basically its about content (text to link ratio) and shit |

2-4 jump with dmoz and Yahoo inclusion if your site is relevant and giving Google what it wants optmization-wise and link-wise (text, not all link lists, etc) considering most your link partners have a PR, the higher the better for certain site types where keyword relevance is important. PR is not an all answer to acheiveing a top ranking, however the higher your PR the more likely you rank for a wider range of relevant keywords.

Depending on which categories you get your site listed in DMOZ/Yahoo you can typically expect a PR of 2-4. For most adult listings that I submit into Yahoo/DMOZ I get a PR of 3 (before link trades). For non-adult you can expect a 3 or 4 based on those two sources alone. Once you start getting linking partners you should be able to crack a PR of 5. So if you already got a good set of link partners you can probably get a +2/3 boost by getting into Yahoo/DMOZ.
But as Cyndalie said, PR doesn't always translate into the top rankings. It's a good indication, but there are other factors involved as well in determining where you'll rank. WG
