Canon 5D MK2 (MKII) with 50mm 1.4 lens. Vancouver, Gastown, sometime in the mid 2010's outside of "Chill Winston" just taking random photos and this turned out great.

Yes I have it, but I prefer the black bars because to me at least it makes it look like a screenshot from a movie.

I'm not a seasoned photographer, just a hobby, but yes, the 50mm is my favourite!

That pic with the wine glass... I was pretty drunk and just snapping away and that magic photo came out. When I try and explain to people what a migraine aura looks like, I show them the photo and point to the circular part of that photo and say that is exactly what a migraine aura looks like inside your own eyeball, but pulsating like a dutch rave as well.

it´s lovely lighting from the sun behind, and yes, i get what you mean, your eyes can´t adjust to the lighting & you see these glowing rings, the light distorting, pleasant to see as a photo, not so much when you´re with a blinding headache

the car stuck in the water, we have floods here every twice year, February & anytime now, the November rains...

washes out the beaches & this was just a simple moment of taking a photo, no one around, dramatic with the mess of the debris on the road & that car just stuck...

but then the others, all showing different life enjoyments, our pet, flowers, a butterfly, we have many land on our balcony and of course a beer, nothing like a cold San Miguel in a local bar
