I don't really like Star Trek that much. But I did like the Mirror, Mirror episode.

So, I also like The Fairest of them All, in Star Trek Continues.

If you like the original, you probably will like these.

They were filmed a few years ago.

But they have got everything spot on, and colour correct, so it looks and feels like it was shot in the 60's.

In some ways they have got it so correct makes it a bit strange. I thought they had been made in the 60's to be honest. It was only when I googled the background that you find they were made recently.

I actually got hooked on it and have watched a few of them and have to say the writing is extremely good. Most of the acting does have reminders of the original and we all know Sulu as the guy from Mythbusters. Spock on the other hand - sorry - just not my style and would have chosen someone better but I'll give him a chance.

Yeah, considering everything else, Spock is a miss.

I was surprised when I read that the guy playing Scott was the real son of the real Scott played in the show. They really pulled some strings to get quality and direct people to the original.
