Business Xvideos doesn't allow watermarks on the videos you upload...

We stopped uploading to Xvideos a while ago. Many other paysites and producers have also stopped uploading their content to Xvideos. I am in contact with more and more studios, indie creators, and producers each day who stopped uploading there and to other tube sites.

Xvideos will not allow you to put logo watermarks on the videos you upload. They will delete the video and remove the content or not approve it at all. They told us we cannot upload videos with watermarks that have our domain extension ".com" in the watermark. This is a blatant attempt to prevent users from typing in our domain name and visiting our site directly. Yet, they want our content so they can benefit from it.

But this is what we consider to be a proper watermark.

It's time to start calling out these companies more.

Let's keep this topic alive and keep putting our thumb on these tubes that are profiting off indie creator and studio content every day, but make it very difficult for you to get traffic in return and paying you pennies on the dollar via their sub-par "Premium" content programs.

The name of the tube game is: give us clips and content so we can sell our premium tube memberships and make money from your content... but we are going to try and prevent you from getting any clicks to your site.

They want to keep their surfers on their tube site, not send them to your site.

I have been saying this for years. Seems people are starting to listen.

Good point. The whole purpose to use tubes was to promote and gain traffic to your site now that isn't even happening. I feel sorry for those who embed leader 3 seconds as to who they are to only ask it to be removed.

Now it's easier to scrap videos and just put up a 2257 page to be barely checked these days. Content creators are screwed no matter what they do.

For sure. Thanks for your support. But I do disagree that content producers and creators are screwed. I think there is hope now if we continue to seize these opportunities, keep talking, and take massive action.

Are u talking about random users, or verified brands?
Cause as far as I can see there is no problem with watermarks and official brands are have a HUGE banner over their profile to link to their site.

I know that watermarks are not allowed on videos by random users - cause they get overflooded with stolen content where people just put their affiliate link as watermark. But for official creators I can't see a single point u say actually be true thb.

I don't want def xvideos - I don't care. I just looked up and wonder what exactly u mean.

while your film isn´t allowed watermark, you can add your content to a channel, so your banner remains below the video & I think watermark to your channel at xvideos is allowed, this, I don´t know, but mine with these watermarks seem ok...

First, this is concerning watermarks in the video content itself. Yeah, this is a new policy they started implementing just a few weeks ago, or maybe 8 weeks ago. So any videos you see that have watermarks in the video itself without a domain extension in them is because they were already there before this new rule took effect.

Can you send example URL of the video which has a huge banner over it? You may be talking about the "Channel" page which is different than the single video pages which get a lot more traffic.

                Yeah OP, please clarify.

I haven't had this issue (yet) with them.

Anyone who put a watermark in before these new rules is ok, new content won't be approved that has a domain extension in the watermark. This is them blatantly trying to prevent users from typing-in your domain name from the video. Yet they want you to upload your videos so THEY can benefit from them.

Does your logo have the name of your site with the .com on it? I’d add that. Seems they’ll allow that but not just a yoursite.com

Yes, you can see in the screenshot there that I told them the ".com" is part of our logo and is also on our site itself.

This is a case of favoring certain studios over others and has been going on for years.

It can be the support that have no clue or intern communication troubles - or your right and they threat producers different (which would be more worse than the initial problem imo).

Of course, it is the case yes. Because right there you can see they said this to us and treated MDH differently. It is not a mistake we've had dozens and dozens of videos sidelined that we've tried to upload and they are rejected because of that alone.

while saying this, I agree, faphouse, xhamster and pornhub allow site urls on the videos, this is annoying.

I´m just saying the money made on video views for me, works fine

oh and just fyi, all the videos in the past, they´re also being taken down when you have your url on the video...

I´ve had about 10 videos so far, placed into edit & need to upload a new video without logo, url or watermark
I think I had over 10 billion views there and I was one of the first to have my channel removed by own choice. It was still beer money with all of them views

it's simple, stop using xvideos and make your channels on other tube sites, you can still upload your videos to many tube sites.

                                                  Hello,
we are sorry for this misunderstanding, for now, your watermark is fine with.com
But once your account is linked with Sheer, watermarked videos should be anyway replaced, because on Sheer it will not be possible even to release such videoswe recommend making an account on the Sheer.com platform, which Xvideos is now integrating with, and soon it won't be possible to use Xvideos without Sheer.
Register on Sheer.com, verify yourself there and once you are verified, contact Sheer support and ask about linking the account with your Xvideos channel.
You will be able to manage multiple sites from their dashboard and grow using XVideos traffic.

                                                  ---

What a joke, now all of a sudden they will allow us to use ".com" in the watermark because we called them out.

All everyone has to do is band together like the dozens of other creators and studios I've talked to who have stopped uploading there, and just STOP UPLOADING CONTENT THERE.

You are not going to lose sales, trust me. We are doing better than we ever have before since stopping uploading there 2 months ago.

this is the big secret the TUBES don't want YOU to know. They want you to thin kif you stop uploading you will lose sales. But it's not true.

People are smarter than you tink and they WILL find your content through other means.

Every time you upload content to a tube you give them another page for their search engine presence.

Yeah, one year ago they wanted us to move all our XV Premium videos under Sheer - where they don't allow URLs in watermarks. Only an idiot would upload his own content anywhere without watermarking it with his domain name.
                                                      no sig, sorry

Originally if you went to the Downblouse Beauty address it would redirect to Downblouse Loving. But it doesn't anymore. He's no longer an affiliate of mine. I managed to secure the account for myself and have added some videos with just Downblouse Loving on like this:

                                                                      https://www.xvideos.com/video7014664...lst_fully_nude

So it seems now magically we can. Oops! "Sorry for this misunderstanding," they say. So now they've added an insult on top of it. I guess they assume we are all morons

After we've filed a complaint and have talked about it on industry comm channels.
What still remains is their favoritism and unfair practices.

...and soon you will not be able to use Xvideos without Sheer. So it seems they will be forcing people to use Sheer if they also want to use Xvideos.

GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) is an EU regulation that protects the privacy and personal data of individuals within the European Union and the European Economic Area. If you believe that a company is not in compliance with GDPR, you do have rights and can take action. Here are some general points regarding the situation you described:

Lawful Basis for Processing: Under GDPR, a company must have a lawful basis to collect and process personal data. One common basis is "contract", where the data is necessary for the fulfillment of a contract. However, the data requested must be proportionate and strictly necessary for that purpose. Simply asking for all contracts and IDs without a valid reason might be seen as excessive.

Data Protection Principles: GDPR mandates that personal data should be processed lawfully, fairly, and transparently. It should be collected for a specific purpose and not further processed in a manner incompatible with that purpose. Data should be accurate, stored only as long as necessary, and be secured appropriately.

Rights of the Data Subject: Individuals whose data is being processed have various rights under GDPR. They can request access to their data, ask for corrections, object to processing, and in some cases, ask for the data to be deleted. They also have the right to be informed about the collection and use of their personal data.

Data Protection Impact Assessment: If a company plans to process personal data in a way that's likely to result in a high risk to individuals' rights and freedoms, they might be required to conduct a Data Protection Impact Assessment (DPIA). This would assess the potential risks and measures to mitigate them.

Making a Complaint: If you believe that WGCZ Holding or NXvideos is in breach of GDPR, you can make a complaint to The Office for Personal Data Protection in the Czech Republic. You'd generally need to provide evidence of the alleged breach and any communications you've had with the company regarding the matter.

Potential Consequences: If a company is found to be in breach of GDPR, they can face significant fines, often based on a percentage of their annual global turnover or a fixed amount, whichever is higher.
