    Which software do online newspapers like the NY Sun and others use to send their daily newsletters?

      Sign up to their email list and check out their emails. Nine times out of ten you can tell what they are using just by looking at the links they send in their emails.

      For example, if someone is using YNOT Mail all of their links in their emails start with ynotmail.com. This is for tracking services.

      They also could be using something internal.

              Yep, should be visible in footer, if there is nothing, then it means they are using custom or self hosted solution.

                  There are hundreds of ESPs out there. The easiest way to identify who is using which is to sign up for an email and then check the CNAME of the link domains, and the MX records of the sending domain (likely will be something like mail3.nysun.com rather than nysun.com).

                      It doesn't matter who they use if you are in adult they won't do business with you. Look into something like substack if that might work for you.
