Remember in the first Matrix, Agent Smith said they tried to create a Utopia but it didn't work? Well, part of making it work is that a small percentage of people <B>must</B> be allowed to rebel. So, they let Zion grow until it becomes dangerous then they destroy it and let the One choose people to re-populate it. There were six previous "One"s, so Neo is #7. Basically what the old man said is that the Matrix is much, much older than we thought and currently in its 6th incarnation.

It makes me feel bad for you people that don't understand either of the Matrix movies...PAY-A-FUCKIN-TENTION!

If you didn't understand the second one....why were you watching it in the first place? Because you sure as hell couldn't have gotten anything out of the first one.

All you have to do is sit down without and distractions and watch and listen...it's that simple.

If you don't get it the first time, try again and again until you do...If you don't get it after watching it 3 times, give up and kill yourself.

It was long and drawn out. Frankly, I was quite dissappointed.

I realize the Matrix was revolutionary and thus, all sequals must be evolutionary. I also realize that the brothers Wachowski (or whatever, I don't feel like looking it up) are spoiled with a huge budget now.

IT STILL SUCKED. Just shut the fuck up and do something. Action movies should have action in them, not long expository tracts delivered by arrogant frenchies. A frenchy who did not even attempt to fight neo, but just escaped, even though he is so powerful.

The only thing that could have saved that movie was if Neo was to give Trinity a BP4L fishhook during the shitty love scene.

Not only is it in it's 6th incarnation, but what I got was that they are NEVER really out of the Matrix. That they are only led to believe they are for the system to work.

I understood the first movie, but the second movie... Please, half the words the Matrix creator spoke out, neither of use GFYers could comprehend on the spot.

Another thing, how exactly did Agent Smith replicate? Why? I wasn't paying attention, since I was with my girlfriend.

this seemed pretty evident in the end when he "felt" the sentries. he appeared to stop them himself, but i'm not sure if that was actually the case or not, because the other ship came in just after they were stopped, which leaves the question if he actually stopped them or the other ship fired the emp. but, there was no telltale emp shockwave like was shown in the first one. it appears that agent smith became one of the vagrant programs that both the creator and the oracle spoke of.. like ghosts and such. he altered himself to be able to replicate, which isn't a far step from the agents anyways. they can take over anyone whenever they want, so why couldn't one of these "renegade" programs adapt themselves a little bit to do what he did?

Right...however I'm only hoping this is something to throw us off as we all stew over this episode until we finally get the real surprise ending in the last and final movie

They really did leave off the ending in a place that you could not figure out exactly what is happening though. Two possiblities. One they never were out of the matrix which seems to be the general consensus. Two he was bugging the fuck out and he was out of the matrix. Only reasons the sentinals died...EMP. The ship picked them up shortly after. I think it was EMP.

The Matrix wasn't an action movie. Go check out X2 (another great movie) if you want action.

The story was good, but the end sucked. I know they're hyping up the third one, but in almost all sequels/trilogy's, whatever, each episode can stand on its own and has a definitive beginning and end.
I felt like I wasted my fucking money going to see it, because I have to see the 3rd one to find out what the fuck is up.

Also, they overdid the kung fu theater scenes way bad, and that superman shit has got to go.
