I don't like it... I wouldn't buy it even if it wasn't electric. But I can see it appealing to a certain crowd whose sense of vanity demands them to be perceived as "forward looking", if that makes sense.
They know their customer base well.

Musk needs to take another auto design course, but I would recommend turning over his design department to the Italians. They are the best in the world at making memorable automotive designs. Tesla auto's are a little ripe in looks these days, and this truck design has nowhere to go except down. He has a touch of the volkswagen mentality. Christ, in my city, you can spit and hit a Tesla.Comment

5 years ago I bet these would be an easy sell. Today though this competes with the Ford F150 electric. That is a really hard truck to beat as far as sales go.Comment
