glamour and classic porn aren't necessarily "old sites" its just old content. there are still groups trading and sharing Playboy mags.
i have stats of the current month showing what niches sell. the market changes a lot, but there's still solid funnels that don't require getting in bed with tubes. sales are pretty easy when you can connect with the right buyers. that FantasyOne site has always had lower than 1:100 conversion rate.
when the boomers are all gone, classic glamour will be dead with them. that's another 20 years of sales tho

As for how big of a market, or how much you can personally gain from it, that's 100% dependant on you as the marketeer.
It's down to how well you can embrace the niche - ANY NICHE - and connect on an emotional level with your customers.Comment

We have a lot of older German movies - and our audience is more 40-50+ - so it's what they remember from their youth and maybe back then couldn't afford to buy because every DVD was 20-40 Euro and now they get thousands for 20 Euro a month.Comment

I think a lot of the copyrights are up. We ran one for several years and frankly it sucked. A/b tested it for months and it just doesn’t do well (for us at least).

if it weren't for fetish niches i would have been out of this business a long time ago. crazy shit sells every day. so i keep working until nobody needs me anymore. then i'll go sit by my pond and die.
