IS this a good deal on a comp or what?

im just looking here and this is what i found

the computers are so so considering they have onboard shit, but they are offering 120gig and 1ghz ram.. thats pretty good no?

Those aren't bad deals, but you can buy a motherboard, chip and RAM for a few hundred dollars and use all your existing hardware if all you need is more speed.

right now im running on a pentium2 466, so anything new would imrpove my speed tremendously!

My brother bought one of their systems, not the Value line, but the highest end one they had, Vision, or something like that.

It's a nice starting point for a system, it comes with a good Intel motherboard. You'll have to upgrade the video and sound card though. You can easily disable the onboard stuff in the BIOS so that's not a problem.

If you don't want to build a system yourself then they are not a bad place to look.

Actually, you might want to steer clear of the Value line. Just checked their website and it doesn't state who makes the motherboard and also says you get a generic hard drive. That usually means it's not 7200 RPM.

No sense starting out with crap parts all around.

Just picked up a Pentium 4 2.7 with 1gb of ram, pentium 4 motherboard and really nice video card, 800 bucks CDN
