Shower Thought: How do they handle compliance for performers that never show their faces?

OK, I lied - As if I take showers!

That said though, how are 'faceless' creators verified? Unless they have tattoos or something like that, how do people know that the woman in the vids, is the same woman thats sent in her ID?

If you are never going to show your face, then its plausible to substitute a younger similar looking model into your videos, and just say 'Oh that's me when I was younger' or whatever...

Then there is Zero compliance on the substitute model - They could hypothetically be underage?

Genuinely wondering as you have all these compliance issues arising these days, where people are requesting the backs of IDs etc... Yet the amount of 'Faceless' content creators seems to have grown exponentially...

So what s the deal? One rule for someone that doesn't want to show their identity on film, and another for the producers of legitimate paid content shoots with professional models?

If you were to film a scene with someone that didn't show their face you would still collect their IDs and have them sign a consent form. So I guess it's the same for creators that show their faces.

Yes, but I'm talking about the platforms where creators upload their own content. OnlyFans, manyvids, Tubes etc...

In other words, if a girl uploads content, and shows an ID to be verified, but never shows her actual face in the video, then whos to say its actually the girl who has proved her age via the ID?

Faceless creators are subject to the same age verification laws as performers who show their faces. If someone uploads content featuring a faceless performer without having a 2257 and ID on record, they are committing a crime. If they falsify IDs or age verification records, they are committing fraud on top of failing to comply with the 2257 laws.

Would you get away with it? Probably yes, but why though? Why go through the trouble when you can just use the real performer's ID and paperwork? The crime has no payoff and huge, career-ending potential downside if discovered.

You misunderstand. I'm well aware of the requirements for a professionally produced piece of content - I've been shooting porn for sale since 1986!

Im talking about the compliance from the other side of the coin - The platforms side - Girls uploads video of herself with a dildo, shot on her iphone propped up against a book. Platform says 'Submit IDs' - She submits her ID...

But if she never shows HER FACE in the content she uploads, how does anyone know that its the girl who sent her ID in, or somebody else entirely in the videos?

That's the side of the fence I am talking about... If they are happy to go ahead with that content for an 'unknown' then its a bit rich for them to be requesting the back of IDs for content shot years ago... That's what I was getting at...

As far as I can tell, its just a big 'pantomime' with the faceless creators, but everyone else has to do it properly...

they would have to submit faces to the provider (onlyfans) to verify who they are, but they dont have to show their face on the site.

It's pretty much like POV blowjobs etc. even though you see his dick and/or legs you still need to supply the doc's and release forms (funny name for the forms). Legally just have to cover your ass in case they check.
