Vr porn is it still selling?

I'm sure there are some that have a small amount of profit but generally no. You can get a good idea at times by looking at competition but anytime someone posts all the great features of VR they generally are met with laughter.

All the big producers I've ever spoken with (non-VR) said VR was pretty expensive to get into and the margins wouldn't be worth while.

It's really just another niche like anal or shemale, though, from the affiliate's POV.

Since you've read what I've said and seem to take an interest in me then you'll know I've said all along - it has potential but is still a niche market. The technology has to get better for VR to grow.

The bottom line VR porn is an interesting idea, and I enjoyed the videos I watched. But at the end of the day, porn just isn't as compatible with the VR format as it is with the computer screen. Certainly, it doesn't enhance the porn experience enough (yet) to make buying a headset worth it.

I hope VR porn continues to thrive in niche communities, whose sexual or technological preferences attract them to the format. But for the moment, old-school porn is here to stay.

You obviously are invested in this which is why you're jumping all over my ass and calling me names and anyone else. With age comes wisdom - experience and common sense along with being in this industry for as long a certain amount of perspective of what can work and what needs working on. VR needs working on and it's still a niche.

To be honest he is 100% right about the road blocks.

I am invested in VR/AR, with some websites and hundreds of domains, I have been participating in the journey for years and I Don't plan on stopping but there are A LOT of problems with VR.

1 - Will AR be better than VR ( I don't think entertainment wise AR will be better than VR, I think AR will be more useful but VR will be where the fun is )

2 - Position - That is obvious ( there are solutions however, and changing your POV to different participants might be really engaging )

3 - Price - you know how it is with the pricing, but to be honest things are getting far better and cheaper

4 - Privacy - it is just easier to get caught up and caught while "playing with a VR"

5 - Biggest issue right now is that companies simply won't allow porn apps.

There is a ton more from the limited scenes ( and I know how much each of the big 10 VR studios has and creates ) to the restrictions of the scenes themselves ( it is simply hard to do a ton of stuff with all the equipment )

But everything being said - Yes VR is making money, VRBangers didn't bought VRPorn.com just for the sake of it, yes VR is going to grow much more and might even take a big % of the total porn market ( so much that it is not considered a niche anymore) but there is a lot of time since that happens.

With all due respect, you should dial that back and consider apologizing. That is not cool at all. Mrmister posted an honest question, and Legacy answered him. If you have data that disputes his reply, you should simply share it in the thread instead of attacking.

Your post suggests that everyone over 30 is too old to understand VR. If you genuinely believe this, then I submit that you are missing out on a huge market. Not only do people aged 30 and above understand and use VR, but they are also the main group that can afford the hardware. And if they can afford the hardware, they can afford to pay for the content as well.

While I am sure you know your stuff when it comes to VR, attacking and then dismissing someone with a lot of industry experience kind of makes you look like you don't know what you're talking about.

As an over-30'er myself, I love technology and have owned several VR headsets over the past few years. They are enjoyable for playing games, but they are only mildly interesting when it comes to video-only content. The reason is quite simple: VR for games and computer-generated content is 100% immersive. VR for video, however, is not. All VR really offers for video is good 3D. Strapping on a headset just to watch some porn is uncomfortable, inconvenient, and especially distracting, speaking um... from experience... for scientific research purposes only y'a understand.... ;)
