Your definition of C*dporn

Damm.. i never thought of starting a own thread on GFY til i get those fireproof underwear i orderd
But after that "Adult.com bans illegal words" thread and the crazy things that happens here in Germany
( a guy got in trouble because he had a picture of himself, nude, at age of 2 in the bathtube, on his hompage (a private and non adult page); a lawer stated that pictures of adults in a teacher-pupil roleplay are CP because those creates a desire for real CP)
i just have to ask:

what is Your, personal definiton of CP ?
and what (except CP) is illegal in your opinion?

If a child is sexually abused to make it, it is simply wrong full stop. I include having men masturbate while looking at the photos, posing for someone in the nude, having sex for the camera, etc. in that category, so if an actual child is in the pics, it is wrong.

There are some borderline cases. I think we should err on the side of decency.

For instance... A 16 year old with clothes on, sold as porn (through a porn program, for instance, or linked from porn sites) is still exploiting the sexuality of a child and is wrong.

(Is every 16-18 year old a child? No. However, standards and laws need to be simple, so I think the whole "nobody under 18" in the pics rule works just fine.)

I have no problem with consenting adults, who are obviously adults, dressing up in a way that seems youthful. Tawnee Stone isn't a bad thing, neither is "teen" stuff starring girls in their 20s.

As far as I am concerned, shooting a 19 year old who isn't mature enough to understand the ramifications of what she is doing is worse than that.

Morality is never totally cut and dry. If it were, we wouldn't still argue about it. ;)

you know that's actually a good question. I've seen lots of sites that deal with CP and they all evoked the same response from me and that was pure disgust. But is it right to stop with the cute little infant pictures with the fat little chubby baby laying naked on their tummy on a big furry blanket or whatever? Hell, I have tons of pictures like that of my kids. Or the ones where they have made themselves into Santa Claus using shaving cream in the bathtub. These aren't instances of CP. I think that there is a certain age when pics of a nude child are completely inappropriate. I would certainly say that by the age of 1 1/2 or 2 there shouldn't be any more pics of a kiddo naked. And certainly none of them in an erotic pose ever. I'm even against children's modeling sites unless they actually portray them as kids doing normal kid things and wearing normal kids clothing. I'm not even sure I would be happy with those since they can be misconstrued by predators. It's just such a nasty area that society has produced and I wish with all my heart it could be eradicated. But since it can't, I think we should just do our best to get rid of it little by little.

I heard an interesting test -- not necessarily a practical one -- to define cp --- is this:

Would the questionable picture appear to be a child to a real child of the same apparent age?

If it does, then called it cp

Anyone depicted in a non-innocent way that is under the age of
the higher age of the laws of the 2 countries involved.
(provider and viewer) ...or even a provice as in the case of
bare chested photography in Canada and others.

My nono list

If the person is under 18 and naked at all online, except being the person posting it. Aka, a 20 year old posting a pic of themselves at 5 on a toilet or such, and no banners.

If the person is under 18 EVEN IF CLOTHED and there are banners linking to paysites/porn sites, OR they are on a paysite/area that requires a credit card to access. Big NoNo

Each person has different levels, and each country will define it a different way.

You've obviously never seen real cp. I'm not talking about the difference between a 17 year old and and 18 year old. I'm talking about CHILDREN -- under 13

Wow.. 6 well thougt, serious posts. What am i doing wrong?
OK, to be honest, i am not surprised.

Itīs true that each country/society has itīs own definitions. Donīt know if my info is up to date, but in Japan the borderline ist 12 Years. Here in Germany itīs 14 (what is to young in my opinion - at least in most cases). Something that realy upsets me is that people no longer different between somebody how admits that a picture of a 15 Year old, hot girl is sexual arousing to him and someone how tortures or even kills childs

Lyno, the answer is simple ...what's your gut tell you!

Here in Ontario Canada, it's perfectly legal for girls/women of
any age to walk around without a top on. It's also perfectly
legal for me living in the beaches area of Toronto to wander
down to the lake shore with my camera.

It's NOT legal for me to place those shots for sale on a web
site under federal law. (with good reason behind it of coarse)

If it's under the age of societal/cultural acceptance, you need
to sit with a shrink and find out why you have a stunded
sexual maturity and work past the need to interact with those
with those not mature enough to understand the actions
taking place.

Plain and simple, pedophilia is a mental illness.
