    IPFS is decentralized... you would have to take down every machine that's seeding.

      They are operated on US servers, so they may be liable.

      I doubt mainstream content owners will let these as well as github continue to share links to these for long.

      It also links to porn... Some of which may be underage.

      Whatever happens... I DMCAed their asses.

        IPFS.io/ipfs/ is just a public http gateway to the interplanetary file system (peer to peer) network.

        Even if they remove the hash (url) from their public gateway, there's a dozen more public IPFS http gateways.

        And even if all those public gateways would take it down, anyone could just simply install the IPFS software and visit the link directly anyway (without the use of a gateway).

          Thanks a lot for the info. I'm not really familiar with IPFS.

          They'll have the FBI, CIA, Interpol, multiple countries and all the big mainstream studios on their ass.

          I'm like... Nothing. But, I think they're taking huge risks and underestimating their power.
