    Should AI run your country?

Should we get rid of humans and let AI run things?

AI may make the right decisions based on facts, but may lack the empathy that needs to be part of those decisions. We still need humans in the middle to assess the value of insights and decisions to the welfare of humans, businesses and communities

That being said - where does AI get it's data from to make decisions?

Is that data perfect or are their faulty information?

I think you'll find your answers there

Empathy may result in the wrong decision being made.

That said the AI on Logan's Run went a bit nuts. So did the robot too.

It will always be the lesser of two evils.

AI is not able to take the human condition or fully comprehend the impact on individuals since the country has so many diverse individuals.

Humans on the other hand are greedy and refuse to notice those less fortunate.

I would hate to think that my future could be determined by a machine program but in a society where there is democracy - there is always hope.

NOTE: AI is vulnerable to attacks because it is based on algorithms that can be exploited and manipulated by malicious people. Similar to politicians being paid off as well. Yet a foreign country or hacker gets into an AI algorithm could humans turn it off and take over? I got visions of Hal 9000 from 2001 a Space Odyssey

            You think it doesn't already?

Hourly workers are not on schedules like I had. My bosses said, come in Mon to Friday 8-5 (hour lunch). Now they get come on Mon, Wed, Thurs, Friday, Sunday and hours are 4a-1p, 8a-5p, 12a-9a, 10p-7a, 11a-8p.

How in the fuck are you supposed to schedule a life around that shit? Go to school? Get child care?

Answer: you aren't. AI made your schedule so that you can never leave. Thanks a lot, Eagles!

There are also trends on empathy.

The problem with IA is not that it's too rational but that it can be set up to be idiots like us.

Prompt: If you had the power to rule an entire country of your own, how would you run it? What would be your chosen system of government?

ChatGPT: If I had the power to rule a country, I would aim to establish a government based on democratic principles, ensuring that the voice and participation of the people are at the core of decision-making processes. I would prioritize transparency, accountability, and inclusivity.

To ensure efficient governance, I would establish a system that combines representative democracy with elements of direct democracy. This would involve electing representatives to make decisions on behalf of the people, while also allowing for direct citizen participation through referendums and initiatives on important matters.

Furthermore, I would emphasize the importance of safeguarding individual rights and freedoms, promoting equality, and striving for social justice. A strong focus would be placed on education, healthcare, and infrastructure development to improve the overall well-being of the population.

Economically, I would aim for a balanced approach that encourages innovation, entrepreneurship, and sustainable development. This would involve creating a conducive business environment, promoting fair competition, and implementing policies that address income inequality.

Additionally, I would prioritize environmental conservation and sustainable practices, working towards a greener and more eco-friendly future. Collaboration with other nations and international organizations would be crucial for addressing global challenges such as climate change, poverty, and conflict resolution.

Overall, my chosen system of government would be one that upholds democratic values, promotes citizen participation, focuses on social welfare and sustainability, and engages in responsible global citizenship.

For some reason I'm reading that in the voice of Patrick Bateman making the case for Phil Collins era Genesis.

Anyway, I believe in low taxes for oligarchs, wage slavery for the scum masses, cuts to health, welfare, education, more money for police, military and secret police, embezzlement, bribery, general corruption that makes it hard to stop any of the above, and NO IMMIGRANTS. NO. IMMIGRANTS.

                        Who'd win, me or ChatGPT?

AIs are not inhuman enough to be worthy of our precious vote.

A politician talking like ChatGPT did would get my vote... just saying.

It's pretty much my idea of social democracy. Wonder if it would give everybody else the same answer or it just knows me very well because I use it every day.

An Ai would use the best strategy to get elected (like a polician) and then, once on charge? The most popular policy? The most efficient? The best long term one that he forsees ? The one to get reelected? The one to reduce the debt? The one that makes you in a position to better fight an ennemy that you forsees? (Russia, CO2 ???)
Sorry but the AI that we follow give us trends (what is the most probable word for a given context).
They are not geniuses that makes no mistakes that have perfectly modelised the reality.
So we are still behind what we need for an AI ruler

I do not want an AI ruler bro. As leftarded and rightarded as humans can be, I'd still rather be ruled by humans if I have to be ruled by anything at all.

I just find it interesting how ChatGPT seems to have the same exact views on politics that I've been pushing in the basement for years.

However, looking at how Ukraine is giving Russia the business, AI could probably handle the Rustanians too 🤣
