I'm sure you could directly wire a solar panel into AAA solar rechargeable batteries through a hole in the enclosure, I have heard you could spike over 12-16V and possibly damage the device. Worth a try but you may be better off just buying a different camera.

My Ring stickup camera batteries seem to last 4-5 months between charges, that isn't bad to me.

if the cam has a place to plug in an ac adapter (mine does), then you should be able to find a solar panel that can plug in too

You can get solar power versions.

However the batteries last ages. Most take 8, but only use 4 at a time.

Unless your recording a lot, they will not use a lot of power.

I don't know. But an FYI - I don't know if they would work for that. But those Energizer Ultimate Lithium batteries last a long time in my experiences.

I haven't tried lithium batteries in this yet. It has a 6 Volt AC jack though.

            Just got it last week.

If you get a 2-cell lithium polymer (LiPo) battery, it will last for a very long time and just wire it to the battery terminals inside or make a jack to plug into the camera's power plug.

You can get them in all kinds of capacity. The larger ones should run the camera for months.
              https://www.amazon.com/s?k=2s+lipo

The battery is 7.4 volt but will not hurt the camera, as the camera pulls what it needs... the battery does not push. But if you are worried, you can get a buck converter to step the voltage down to 6volt but it is not necessary.

Do not let the LiPo battery get below 3.3v per cell - they do not like to be overly discharged.
