In London, go to Picadilly Circus, shop on Oxford Street, go to Leicester Square, Trafalgar Square, Buckingham Palace (changing of the guards), Westminster Abbey, get drunk in Soho, blah blah blah
Once in Amsterdam, sit in cafes, drink Heineken and smoke weed and eat dutch cheese.

Head into Soho + China Town walk through all the back streets and see the 'real' action ;) Madam Tassauds is good so is the London Dungeon but other than that, the rest of London is shit. Oh make sure you take a trip on the Underground too thatll be a great experience for ya especially if you get on at Paddington and go to somewhere like Golders Green ;) Theres some good clubs around Covent Garden to full of cute guys / chicks depending on what your taste is ![]() Oh once you are in Soho make sure you go to Madame JoJo's its a right laugh also the Corner Bar is good to get wasted in ![]() Regards, Lee |

Covent Garden is a great place to hang out great restaurants and good bars. If you do take a ride on the tube ( underground rail ) make sure you have a lot of cash on you and it should be late at night last trains are around 12.15 am Then you can experience the pleasure of being mugged, its not to be missed ( just kidding ).
Neal Street restaurant is fantastic if you want a truly high class meal in great surroundings and if you are with you girl of wife take her to the Charring Cross Hotel to have high tea 4 pm -5pm most days ( but check the times first) Hyde Park is a great place to get some fresh air and about the only open space you will find in London its at the end of Oxford street near Marble Arch tube station. If you do go to Soho it can be unsafe late at night so be careful and hide your wallet. Have a great time and if you get the chance try an Indian Curry, some of the best Indian restaurants are in London. Cindy xx ![]() ![]() |

Gosh, I couldn't live with out London anymore..I guess it one of those places you either love or hate but it has really worked its way under my skin.
This may sound silly but really if you want an overview of London go on one of the open top tour bus things. The 'big bus' or something like that is the best one I have been on. Nearly everytime I have someone visit me from the States for the first time we end up on one of those and they have never regretted it. They give a good overview..you can get on and off, the tickets are good for 24 hours (buy it at noon, it is good until noon the next day) and once you have done it you will then have a better idea of the layout of the city. London and particuarly central London really is an easy place to walk around and eventually most of the streets feed back into each other but on first glance it can be more than a bit confusing. Madame Jo Jo's, eh? Keep meaning on going there but get distracted by Harmony nearby ;) Soho rocks. |

just got back from london and amsterdam
in amsterdam, go to bulldog cafe (institution) and Die Baum restaurant. Stay at the NH Krasnapolsky hotel. In london, go to Le pont de la tour restaurant, hit the bars in SoHo, and make sure to eat once at the Grill at the Savoy restaurant. Apart from that, drink lots of beer in both countries...beats north american piss water any day of the week. |
