Poll on VR Porn use, from a VR Users (not Producers) perspective...

Regarding a few recent threads about VR porn...

This would make for interesting data if everyone took this poll - I've set it to anonymous.

No need to post. Just click poll - Thanks...

Hopefully I can get enough results to put the findings into chatgpt, and have it analyse them for me. Then I'll poost the resulting analysis in this thread...

Does VR actually make money or is it hype like the "metaverse"?

I know quite a few people that have a rig (if that's even the right terminology,) yet very few of them actually use it.

I think it's incredible technology and has great potential in other industries, I'm having difficulty seeing it truly catch on in an entertainment scenario. TV, movies, video games... while yes, we do these things solo, we also really enjoy doing them with other people. Usually more so.

I have been making bank in VR since the beginning when we were all building our own 3d printed rigs. It sells really well

Our YanksVR content costs around the same to produce as Yanks content and on VOD platforms makes 6x the amount of money. So yes.

I did some consulting for a program just before the pandemic, and their VR budgets were 2x (and more) than 4K shoot budgets. Has VR software/hardware costs come down significantly in the last 4 years?

We focus mostly on solo, so the model rate is the same. Once the initial investment is made the shoot time is the same. There are some differences, camera were and tear is more expensive and it depends who you are paying for post. So VR is a touch more expensive, but higher margin for sure.

Depends on what you consider making money.

Someone in Cuba where they make about $10 a month will jump for joy over a $500 a month income. But $500 in Los Angeles with $6 a gallon for gas and $8 for a dozen eggs is bullshit money. So always make sure you see some numbers before you get excited about someone *making money*

Nevertheless, VR is a niche and because of that it's going to have 2 advantages. There's not going to be a lot of competition and consumers don't have a lot of choices of where to buy their stuff.
officially retired as of March 01 2018 but still fucking around and getting into shit.

what do you think about launching a SexEdUtainment fund?
I bought a lifetime subscription to vr software and building metabate.io as an affiliate hub and today through another network this dawned on me and AI has helped me with my investment thesis if you're interested!
