WTF - Gas shortage!

WTF! This is ridiculous! I had to get up at 2 am to go put GAS in my car because there is a shortage here in Arizona due to some line break in Tucson! The lines to get gas were ridiculous - I waited 1 hour yesterday in a huge line that would have ended in my waiting at least 1 hour more, so I gave up! I would have run out of gas there just waiting!

Yep, it sucks.

The gas shortage hit the news papers last wednesday, and I noticed gas stations running out of gas as early as last Friday. On Saturday I decided to get gas and had problems finding a gas station that had gas..... Once I found a place I filled up my motorcycle and both cars.

We've closed down the Lightspeed office, and we are all working from home.

It blows my mind that one pipeline supplies 80% of the gas for Phoenix. That's bullshit - You mean a single terrorist attack can bring Phoenix to it's knees?

plus some cars lock the tank cover with the rest of the doors/boot. THANK CHRIST with people like you about!

thats a stretch

pulled into AM/PM this morning because there was not a line only to find out that all they had was regular unleaded...

if things don?t improve quickly, i can see me allotting some time in a few days to go searching for gasoline

To make matters worse now we have to deal with some asshole owners jacking up prices.. Talking about making a bad situation worse.

On Fox the other day they were showing a clip where one owner jacked the price up to 4.95 a gallon They then zoomed in on the pump and the last person to use it bought roughly 17 gallons. Total cost 75.00

whats really fucked up is that the car companies could make all these big "gas guzzlers" quite efficient but choose not to for the gas companies....supposedly we only burn a very small percentage of gas that we actaully put in our car.. the rest is wasted...all for the mighty $$$$.

Hubby is buying me some freaking chip to put in my vehicle to give it better gas milage...i only drive it on trips and to the grocery store...i prefer my bike or to walk most places...but then again i dont have a job outside the house...

Look on the bright side kids, the EPA has now agreed that we dont have to use that crap mix we get stuck with every summer! You're going to get 15% better gas mileage during the problem!

That would be good news provided we could get it...

There is one station out here in Surprise that has gas at any given time and the line is literally a mile long.
